Lindblad Liberation Falls Slightly Short
Revisado: 01-20-25
Lindblad Liberation was an enjoyable read, although it didn't quite live up to the standard set by the first book in the series. At times, the pacing felt slow due to the need for detailed explanations of certain situations and plot developments. However, the virtual voice narration was well-done, with no significant gaps in emotional expression.
Overall, Lindblad Liberation is a solid second installment that expands on the foundation established by its predecessor. While it may not be as strong as the first book, it's still a worthwhile read for fans of the series. With some tighter editing to address the pacing issues, this could have been an even more engaging read. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes from here."

A Sci-Fi Winner: Starship Thunder Exceeds Expectat
Revisado: 01-18-25
A winner with a unique plot that was well thought out. I loved the story and the turns and twist the story had. If you're a SiFi fan try this book out and see what you think. I thought virtual voice automation was good. What's your thoughts on the book and virtual voice narration?

Epic Fantasy Adventure Marred by One-Note Narratio
Revisado: 01-20-24
S.A. Ison crafts a sprawling epic fantasy tale in Yesterday's Warrior, taking readers on an exciting journey through magic, political intrigue, and thrilling battles. The plot keeps readers guessing with its many twists and turns. However, one element that holds the story back is its narration.
Thaddeus, our protagonist, tells the story from beginning to end. While he serves well enough to drive the adventure forward, his narration voice remains remarkably consistent regardless of the emotions or dangers of any given scene. There is little that distinguishes how he describes a moment of levity from one of intense fear or loss. This makes it difficult at times to engage emotionally with the significant events of the story. With more nuanced shifts in Thaddeus's narration, readers could have felt more invested in his journey from start to finish.
