Historia
This book is a companion to the groundbreaking ideas that began with The Messengers. It is a further exploration into the connection, both symbolic and literal, between owls and UFOs. There is a strangeness to these accounts that defies any simple explanation. Each chapter tells a deeply personal story where these mysterious experiences are explored in depth. The ancient mythology of the owl is repeating itself within the modern UFO report. What plays out is a journey of transformation, with an owl at the heart of each story.

Good book, very sincere.
Revisado: 09-03-24
I was pleasantly surprised that the author did such a good job narrating his own book. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way is that everyone in the stories seems to be blown away when Synchronicity takes place; it seems to me that Jung said that Synchronicity is the way things should play out when all is functioning exactly as it should; it’s not an oddly.
The book is pretty eerie, and I was listening to it in my car at night and accidentally hit an owl while I was driving. That was unsettling, glad I didn’t see any UFOs though!

The thing that surprised me the most
Revisado: 08-22-24
I was hoping for lots of new insights and info, there wasn’t much of that, but I have to say the thing that surprised me the most is what an amazing narrator the author is. My heart usually sinks when someone tries to narrate their own work. Ross Coulthard’s audiobook for example was a total disaster; this was great though it made an interesting story that much better.

Much of the book is a bit over my head but I must say that I’ve read (listened to) dozens of books like this one and never understood free radicals until now. Certainly worth the merger purchase price.

Sandman and sisterhood
Revisado: 11-05-23
I think the arclight thing really is a primary reason why this series has gone from tens of thousands of reviews to just over 500. Marberry has definitely lost his audience and his way. It too preachy and woke. Joe and even more so Repairman Jack are blue collar guys from the city. They aren’t suited for exotic James Bond environments.

Revisado: 10-15-23
I’ve heard a few people comment that they think Heppner is getting repetitive in this series, but seriously he could write 100 of them and I’d never stop reading.
More so, even though Mark Boyette is always great this is arguably his finest ever performance as a narrator. All things considered I really enjoyed this book!

Historia
Award-winning investigative journalist Ross Coulthart has been intrigued by UFOs since mysterious glowing lights were reported near New Zealand's Kaikoura mountains when he was a teenager. The 1978 sighting is just one of thousands since the 1940s, and yet research into UFOs is still seen as the realm of crackpots and conspiracy theorists.

Deep breath… Great insight and info, but, deep breath…
Revisado: 08-01-21
This is a great book, but is also a prime example of why authors should be banned from ever narrating their own audiobooks. Coulthart breaths like a bellows at the end of every single sentence. Great info though, no complaints on the content. But, deep breath… the narration is an audio nightmare come to life. Deep breath….

Revisado: 10-19-20
I really have mixed feelings about this one because I am still devastated that they switched narrators mid series. Although Scott Aiello did a better job than last time he’s no Marc Vietor and honestly, he’s just not right for this type of book. I’m not sure what the producers were thinking but the performance is not good enough to support what is otherwise a really solid story by Heppner.
