Historia
Renowned biographer Andrew Morton takes an in-depth look at Britain’s longest reigning monarch, exploring the influence Queen Elizabeth has had on both Britain and the rest of the world for much of the last century. From leading a nation struggling to restore itself after the devastation of the second World War to navigating the divisive political landscape of the present day, Queen Elizabeth has been a reluctant but resolute queen. This is the story of a woman of unflagging self-discipline who will long be remembered as mother and grandmother to Great Britain.

Historia
In A Royal Duty, Paul Burrell reveals the truth about Princess Diana, as well as a faithful account of her thoughts. He was the favourite footman who formed a unique relationship with the Queen. He was the butler who the Princess of Wales called "my rock" and "the only man I can trust". He was accused of theft, then acquitted following the historic intervention of the monarch. He was the Princess' most intimate confidant.

I really enjoyed this book, very uplifting. Too bad he’s not bringing out any other books! This was far better than Prince Harry’s book.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I don’t know what fishbowl he came out off!
Revisado: 01-19-23
As a British citizen, it’s impossible for me to agree that this is 100 percent factual. I 100 percent agree about the Opal fruits though. Xbox didn’t come out until 2001, how in 97 did he get one? Half way through first part of his book. I started thinking his brain stopped developing age of 12, due to the trauma not only by the death of Diana but the divorce. Part 3 his therapist confirmed what I was thinking he was stuck in 1997. I have never heard a man talk about his penis or bodily fluids as much! The fact he talks about about doing mushrooms at Courtney coxs house shows his level of social awareness, I wonder who’ll invite motor mouth to a Hollywood party again. I liked him talking about his exes and the invictous games, happy time of his life, something that is his own, wouldn’t have achieved it without the Royal Family. When he talks about Elton John and the Daily Mail, he couldn’t understand why Elton John was using them to promote his memoir, that just shows he thinks that he doesn’t understand how the media works in the celebrity world. It’s a two way game, they use each other for publicity. As a British citizen I’m really really confused to how he didn’t seem to know that he had to ask permission to get married the closer you are to the throne. He is totally clueless to why he’s not getting security, he doesn’t seem to understand King Charles can’t just give him what he wants, it’s a government decision ad the fact he’s no longer a working Royal, in the real world when you leave a job you no longer get paid for it! I think the security thing is also a country to country issue, would it be fair for British citizens to pay American taxes since that’s were they would be staying. I found him quite rude to Prince William, he didn’t think it was needed that Meghan should curtsy to prince William it’s still a mark of respect, maybe if protocol was respected things would have turned out differently. I loved when he talked about the queen. That was the highlight of the book! Most of the book was tit for tat. Most family’s go through it and I think major cultural differences. As for the racism, interestingly not mentioned, I knew it was not true, if that’s how they felt the Queen would’ve denied the request to marry. I live in America, not just the UK press have negative things to say, I see plenty things here in America. As British citizen, As much as I’m not totally agreeing with everything he’s saying or doing, I do hope he finds the closure, and happiness he needs and deserves!
