It is always refreshing to read a book that is not the same formula you get in average SF stories.
Boy meets girl. Boy falls for girl. Aliens attack. Boy rescues girl. They live happily ever after.
Breakthrough brings something new and that takes from what is happening in the world today. Discovering how to talk to another creature and learn how intelligent they are and learning that we are not the first to talk to them...
The story gets more addictive from there. It has been a long time since I found a story that I could not put down.
I am looking forward to the other books in this series!

Sometimes, you are just looking for something to listen to while traveling. You don't expect too much.
This story has been a lot of fun to listen to, I even backed up a few times if I thought I missed something. I highly recommend this. Sometimes, it's just a bit corny but reminded me of life when I was in the Navy. Odd things you didn't expect, which led to interesting things.
If you don’t want to find adventures in the Navy, then this might be the story for you.

Craig, where do you keep coming up with these amazing stories?
For those not familiar with the Not Alone stories...
Don't start! (lol) The characters and storylines are captivating. Definitely start from the beginning so you can really enjoy watching Dan, an introverted young man, turn into a real hero.
I don't usually read or listen to books mire than once but these are my favorite exceptions. ENJOY!

This is a great series for true sci-fi fans who don't mind a wizard or two mucking up things. This walks the line between hard science, Zen mysticism and magic seamlessly.
Very entertaining for young and old, with a few parables hidden here and there.

Very enjoyable story based in the near future. It explores what to do with a world changing breakthrough.
Bigger than flight, going to space and building the internet. This is a very well constructed work that will draw you in... It did for me.
