It explains “ What happened to Robin?”

We all loved Robin. If we are old enough, we followed his career from the 1970s until his tragic death. Robin was an interesting and gentle individual, and this story brings his life alive. It was a story that I didn’t want to end, I enjoyed it so much. And it explains why and how he died, which was actually a comfort to me. We were afraid his suicide was due to depression, which made it so tragic, because depression can get better. We now know he had an illness, which, oddly enough, explains his suicide in a way that makes us understand that he was actually acting rationally when he took his own life.

I loved the story, the subject, and the performance. All around great book!

My favorite book of the year!

What made the experience of listening to I Can't Make This Up the most enjoyable?

The author is authentic and very funny. He talks about his life, which is nothing like anyone I know, and he shares what he has learned each step along the way. The book kept my interest, and I didn't want it to end. I cheered for Kevin, and hoped for his success in his crazy life. I'm glad he made it, he deserves it.

What other book might you compare I Can't Make This Up to and why?

This is like nothing I have ever read!

Which character – as performed by Kevin Hart – was your favorite?

Kevin played himself, and he was perfect in the role.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moments that moved me were when he talked about his mother, and how he learned to appreciate her as he learned more about life. All the moments where he has a realization were my favorites, I liked hearing about his dad, too. You can't make this stuff up!

Lots of foul language. It didn't bother me, but be warned!

If you could sum up I Am Malala in three words, what would they be?

Thrilling, gripping, eye-opening

Who was your favorite character and why?

The story is Malala's story, told by Malala, about her life and her struggle for basic human rights, specifically to get an education. It is unbelievable how her life was under the Talaban.

Which scene was your favorite?

I have not finished the book yet. It is told by 15 year old Malala, who the Talaban perceived as a threat and they attempted to murder her.

Any additional comments?

Well written. If it wasn't an audio book, it would be a page turner!

The real story on real estate investing

Would you consider the audio edition of The Real Book of Real Estate to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version, but I like the audio version because I can listen to it while I work or do other things.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book has inspired me to take the steps needed to invest in the real estate market. The time is ripe to make money following the guidelines and avoiding the pitfalls mentioned in the book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It is an interesting subject that I had not thought much about. The author has studied and is an expert on the subject of charmisa. She talks about who has it, different types, and how to get it. I'm finding it very intersting.

What does Lisa Cordileione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think reading the book would be good too, because she refers to some charts and boxes that probably have bullet points that you miss with the audio. But I'm busy, I would never have time to read the book, so the audio is best for me.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

I know I will listen to it again, there was a lot of information in there, and I'm always multi-tasking while I am listening,
