Historia
Since the creation of the Federal Reserve more than one hundred years ago, the American dollar has become the most successful product (of any kind) of all time and the language of commerce for the planet. From the Gold Reserve Act to Bretton Woods to the petrodollar and beyond, the U.S. has successfully ridden the waves of historical transformation to stay on top.

To many bible and heaven referances
Revisado: 05-04-25
I enjoyed the setup and the history in the book's first part. When he references the book of Revelation and the story of David and Goliath, then says several times that the idea was from heaven, he loses all credibility IMO. His projection of the future is very unreasonable. Laughs too much at his jokes. Says over and over that he is not trying to predict the future, just the probability, and then lays out the future of the dollar and tax structure, mostly based on the US being patriotic to go along with it. Has he been to the US in the last 30 years? We do not go along with the government to be patriotic anymore. The last half of the book is useless detail about getting vanloads of kids to buy jeans.

Not much to it
Revisado: 03-07-25
This book is very short and only has one or two good points. Should maybe be a short on YouTube but not a whole book that you pay for.

It was funny, heartwarming, interesting and I had a very interesting end, even though I’m not a believer that I really enjoyed.

Historia
Our ancestors crossed deserts, mountains, and oceans without even a whisper of what anyone today might consider modern technology. Those feats of endurance now seem impossible in an age where we take comfort for granted. But what if we could regain some of our lost evolutionary strength by simulating the environmental conditions of our forbears? Investigative journalist and anthropologist Scott Carney takes up the challenge to find out: Can we hack our bodies and use the environment to stimulate our inner biology?

I keep my thermostat at about 60° now and feel very comfortable. Going outside in the cold in shorts and a T-shirt doesn’t bother me at all it’s pretty awesome.
