A delight. Stephen Fry didn't just read it, he brought it to life. I am glad that it was read as written, in a very different world with attitudes and values of that time. Loved every minute and am sorry it's finished.

Boring and old information. Simply an explanation of what money is (and isn't), and what work is (and isn't). It's unfair that people with capital can earn interest on invested money, it's unfair that people witout skills cannot earn money. Yes, yes, Carl Marx also though this. Nop solutions offered. The reader clearly thought it was boring too, I had to check and see if it was in fact read by a human, not AI, no emotion or infections in the monotonous reading. On a long car journey with nothing else down loaded I persevered to the end.

A calm, logical and well researched. The scary underlying communist and anti-freedom undertow that runs through these movements is well illuminated. Hopefully this book will give me the courage to not be part of the silent majority who sees the madness but is too peace loving to say anything.

I really enjoyed the books - but it is a bit of a cheat to take one book and chop it into three pieces, none of which are stand- alone stories. I feel that I have been charged for three books that are actually one book.

This is a meaty story, elegantly told, and beautifully presented. I was sorry when it ended and I would no longer share the lives of the Metropol inhabitants. Just the right ending too.

This second book in the series is as good as all the others. It is charming and delightful. It uses beautiful language and is exciting from beginning to end. Switch the TV off and let your children listen to this while drawing or playing with LEGO and watch how much more interesting they become.
