The machine narration left much to be desired. You could forget that it was AI generated but you couldn’t forget it was certainly not the best. It is a shame because the story was great and the character development kept me interested from start to finish. Could have gone deeper but that is being picky because it was a good strong story

Keeps your interest! Worth the credit for sure.

The best Harlen Coben so far. It’s a standalone, but there was one point where there was a tie back to his first investigator/sports agent series. His characters in this one were well-developed with many interesting twists. Perhaps somewhat unbelievable in some points but hey it’s fiction! Great listen

Disjointed but great characters kept me enthralled

I loved the character development and storylines, but I found myself consistently having to rewind to follow the several different storylines. I did prefer this format to the format of several different short stories because you got to know the characters better. Still, I feel like this could have been more than one book. Not disappointed that I bought this one.

Did not disappoint

As always, the narrator of the women’s murder club brings the characters and storyline to life. There were a few twists and, as long as you are a fan of the women’s murder club series, this volume is worth the listen. I did feel there could’ve been a few more details as they looked for the killer, but the final result was quite nice.
