Historia
This book will help a Christian layperson or pastor better understand the teachings of Mormonism. It is called a “Crash Course” because it covers a lot of ground. While this overview looks at many things, all the chapters flow together to give you a good insight into LDS teaching and practices. Note: Members of the LDS will probably not like this book or agree with its content. They would consider it "A Crash Course in Converting Mormons to Christianity." Also note this book can be very helpful to members of the LDS who are thinking about leaving the LDS. Official LDS books, manuals, ...

very enlightening

the undeniable truth as everything is from their own and very recent printed words in their very own literature by their leaders some of their beliefs were hysterically funny they believe and preach very little from the actual Bible or book of mormon but from their church guidebook along with their book of doctrine and simply go along with what their leader says so much so that their ideas and behaviors are so out there that may be they should merge with scientology as neither cults writings and practice are even remotely logical much less truthful

Historia
In this intimate and open account—nothing like any rock-and-roll memoir you’ve ever read—Alex Van Halen shares his personal story of family, friendship, music and brotherly love in a remarkable tribute to his beloved brother and band mate. In his rough yet sweet voice, Alex recounts the brothers’ childhood, first in the Netherlands and then in working class Pasadena, California, with an itinerant musician father and a very proper Indonesian-born mother.

Historia
As a young man, Ringo became embroiled in the blood feud turbulence of post-Reconstruction Texas. The Mason County "Hoo Doo" War in Texas began as a war over range rights, but it swiftly deteriorated into blood vengeance and spiraled out of control as the body count rose. In this charnel house, Ringo gained a reputation as a dangerous gunfighter and man killer. The reputation he earned in Texas, further inflated by his willingness to shoot it out with Victorio's raiders during a deadly confrontation in New Mexico, preceded him to Tombstone in territorial Arizona.

long on facts,short on entertainment

A good factual account of Ringo's life read in a rote manner of one simply quoting statistics, nothing really new here I would reluctantly recommend for those just looking for historical facts
