Timid, socially awkward, and plagued by self-esteem issues, Fred has never been the adventurous sort. One fateful night - different from the night he died, which was more inconvenient than fateful - Fred reconnects with an old friend at his high school reunion. Stories are great, not crazy about the format

An enjoyable surprise
Revisado: 01-28-25
Honestly a book you shouldn't judge by the title. The world of Fred the vampire accountant is hilarious. I can see this as TV show. Drew Haynes gives us just the right amount of humor, action and campy.

Historia
Gemma Summers is unlucky in love. She's known it since third grade, when her first crush blew a spitball into her hair, and a decade-long string of bad dates, boring sex, and abysmal morning afters has done nothing to improve her prospects. But when a random radio call-in contest lands her courtside tickets to the hottest playoff game of the season, Gemma's luck may finally be on the upswing, even if it doesn't exactly seem like it when the dreaded Jumbotron kiss cam lands on her and her date.

tired of the weak damsel, who can't stick up for themselves. honestly could have been a better book with some character growth.

Stop with Virtual Voice
Revisado: 07-10-24
I've yet to see one book with virtual voice have good reviews. unfortunately this is one book that also won't get a good review. its advertised as funny romance mystery but the reading is so monotone, that it's boring. if I could give the performance 0 stars I would. we need real people who read with emotion. I was confused at one part of the book because I couldn't figure out which character was talking because they all sound the same in the same tone

Very slow and lacking
Revisado: 05-11-24
After the Mattie Winston, series which this book is a spinoff from I was disappointed. It lacked the humor and supporting characters that make those books great. It started out so slow but once u you got pass the first couple of chapters the story picked up.

Still, she throws herself into a baking frenzy for the sake of pumpkin pie and Thanksgiving-themed treats while endless holiday orders pour into The Cookie Jar. Hannah even introduces a raspberry Danish pastry to the menu, and P.K., her husband's assistant at KCOW-TV, will be one of the first to sample it. But instead of taking a bite, P.K., who is driving Ross's car and using his desk at work, is murdered. Was someone plotting against P.K. all along or did Ross dodge a deadly dose of sweet revenge?

first we had the love triangle that went into way more books than necessary. than she marries some random guy who disappears with 2 books she so in love with her husband that within days of her dĵ&but what really gets me is her need to confront the killers on her own. if you follow the timeline of this book it's been about 4 weeks since the last killer she just had to confront almost killed her and she does it again. the first few books were a nice cozy mystery now the main character is to stupid to keep listening to

Historia
After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store. To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan—a.k.a. Sir McHotpants—witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn—the focus of her slightly, albeit harmless, stalkerish tendencies—to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Seriously hard read..
Revisado: 04-24-22
This being the first book in the series and I couldn't make it to chapter 10. Sorry but the heroine was too dumb for me to continue. She couldn't figure out the CEO was not a simple security guard? Because I guess every corporation uses a security guard to train you and take you around to meet corporate clients in the company car. Shes supposed to be unbelievably smart spewing out random trivia facts at awkward times, yet doesn't have the basic common sense of a 12yr. The hero of this story hardly speaks well at least in the few chapters so I couldn't relate to him at all.
