Decent story, easy summer read. Recommend it. Unfortunately the virtual narrator takes away from the book.

Made no sense
Revisado: 10-15-23
I don’t even know what I just listen to. It was so awful. I couldn’t even finish it. This story made absolutely no sense. Both characters were not believable.

It was easy to listen to. I never got bored.
I knew he was involved with many things but didn't realize how broad his knowledge was.

Reads like a good novel, I couldn't put it down.

What did you love best about The Emperor of All Maladies?
Taught History. Made you feel for the patients.
Have you listened to any of Stephen Hoye’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
Any additional comments?
What I thought of as a dry subject was told in a way that you realized the life and death drama in the patients lives. It makes you realize how some doctors and researchers care for there subject of study to do good for so many.
