foreshadowing frying pan

there is possibly nothing more annoying on planet Earth than a book that believes it's being clever with all of its foreshadowing and it's little hands not what's really going on. when the book is so obnoxiously obvious about its big wins that it feels like you're regularly and repeatedly Being hit in the face by a frying pan. if the offer could be ever so kind as to stop stroking their ego for 5 minutes this would be a Really nice book to listen to. unfortunately the author cannot go 5 minutes without including a 3 minute seat alluding to the big twist. if you cut out all of the BS this book would probably be half as long. and five times enjoyable. I know these books are generally meant for children but unless you have a particularly stupid child who has never once in their entire life ever heard of even the concept of Storytelling this they will probably figure it out that's how bad it is that's how obvious the offer makes it.

the new va is better by leagues. hope they never bring kurt back. his soulless tone deaf and emotionless reading was only outdone by his mickey mouse impressions. his later performances never rose above passible and often dipped into bad. its a shame they brought in the new va on a filler part essentially. heres hoping we keep the new va going forward.

An Unsatisfying end to a mediocre series.

filled with terrible "twists". amateur foreshadowing just tells you half the stuff that happens. the author is honestly not any good at handling the time concept of his own books. his characters say things that are supposed to be foreboding but just make you want to tear out your air screaming why are you telling me this???
