The computer generated voice was horrible and distracted me from enjoying the book which was a typical second chance romance full of misunderstandings and angst.

The Hunt is the first book in a young adult paranormal romance series that includes druids and other supernatural creatures.

I listened to the audiobook which I enjoyed and am looking forward to the next book in this series.

I received a free copy of the audiobook but it in no way influenced my review.

I got this audiobook for free as an Audible member benefit.

I saw the HBO documentary about Theranos and was interested to hear what happened from an insider. It was like listening to a friend tell about a horrific event in their life where they did the right thing even though it was costly to their family dynamics and mental health. I applaud Tyler for his integrity, for standing up for what he believed in and for seeing things through to the end. These events made me appreciate investigative journalists for their tenacity and dedication to finding and telling the truth.

The only con for me was that Tyler laughed a lot which I believe was from the incredulity of events and nervousness.

This is the first audiobook I’ve listened to by these two authors. I enjoyed it because there wasn’t insta-love and there was more to the story than their romance.

Maria convinces Trevor to impregnate her by telling him there are no strings attached regarding parenting or child support. Trevor is a navy seal and Maria is a private investigator. He comes home and needs her investigative skills to help with a situation. The title - The Seal’s Baby Arrangement - contains the problem in the story; they made an arrangement and the best laid plans often don’t come off the way one expects. It is an exciting contemporary romance.

I enjoyed the way Trevor interacted with his child and I also enjoyed the relationship between these two strong personalities. Trevor was a navy seal with integrity while Maria desired to be a working, independent single mother. Both being self-contained led to some interesting dialogue.

I received a free copy in return for agreeing to review this book.

This is my first audiobook by Lorana Hoopes, and the first time I’ve heard Sarah Sampino as a narrator. I enjoyed the work of both women and would be open to their other works.

The title is a play on words. He is a SWAT team member pursuing a millionaire’s daughter. It was a sweet, clean Christian romance that I was able to finish in one day because it is approximately 3 hours. It was nice to read a romance without smut and profanity.

I received this book for free in a giveaway but that did not impact my review.

This is the first book I’ve read by Kate Forest. I enjoyed it and would read other works by her.

The story is a moving contemporary romance that has one character with Tourette’s Syndrome and another with dyslexia. It subtly points out that special needs don’t detract from talent or intelligence.

The title contains the in problem in their romance - they are in tune with their music but out of sync with what their special needs mean to themselves and the public.

I enjoyed the interaction between both of these strong personalities. Scott was sweet and funny. Ronnie’s desire to hide her difficulty with reading music because of the fear of being judged made me feel bad for her. The addition of violins at the beginning of each chapter was a nice touch.

I won this audiobook in a giveaway; winning the audiobook had no impact on my review.
