War a wild ride!

It took me a while to write a review for this book. The reason being is there was so much going on, and so many emotions. I really love these characters, and the more you get pulled into the book the more your emotions get tied into it! Once again, the narration is perfect. The story comes alive for you and you can’t wait to find out what happens next!

You get a glimpse into the minds and workings of each member as they search for Sydney who has gone missing after an attempt to her life during a mission. Each member of her team is determined to find her and bring her home but there are many surprises for each as they search in isis territory. Once Sonja Field's accents are spot on and brings Emily's words to life for the listener..

With Sydney still recovering from her time in Miami and the toll the trip cost her she is having a hard time keeping reality in focus and her emotions in check.
I have to tell you, this book was intense with both action and the roller coaster that Sydney is on in the aftermath of her encounter with Devil's Breath. This book also takes us to a crossroads and Sydney needs to make some hard decisions.
Sonja is so good with her accents and inflections you really see the different characters come to life!
I need to know what is next!

This is book 5 of the series and it has Sydney coming home to the states to help clear her late brother's boyfriend from a murder charge. Sydney knows there is no way the sweet, kind man she knows could do this and is out to prove it.
This book has some really tense moments along with some heart twanging ones. I love these characters and hold my breath each time danger strikes...because death is a possability!
I love listening to Sonja Field's voice as she carries us through the book with her words.
