Historia
Rebecca doesn't have many demands for life. She wants a good husband, a neverending supply of chocolate cake, and a house full of children. She's polite and well-mannered, but despite her attempts to secure a love match with a man of her choosing, she finds herself in an unwanted marriage with the elusive Lord Elijah. Forced into a marriage she does not want with a man she does not know, Rebecca is determined to make his life just as miserable as he's made hers.

Slow burn
Revisado: 01-10-25
First book I’ve read from this author. Was anticipating more spice. 🌶️🌶️🌶️out of 5 for me. To much of a slow burn. Maybe adding the males point of view could increase the smut meter.

Historia
Callypso Lillis is a siren with a very big problem, one that stretches up her arm and far into her past. For the last seven years she’s been collecting a bracelet of black beads up her wrist, magical IOUs for favors she’s received. Only death or repayment will fulfill the obligations. Only then will the beads disappear. Everyone knows that if you need a favor, you go to the Bargainer. He’s a man who can get you anything you want … at a price. And everyone knows that sooner or later he always collects. But for one client, he’s never asked for repayment. Not until now.

Unfulfilled
Revisado: 12-09-24
The story pacing is very erratic. Flipping between past and present is very annoying, especially whenever the reader is unable to finish the chapter and takes breaks or pauses.. easily getting lost in the timeline. The first half of the book is a slow burn and just one it starts to get spicy, You hit another blockade and the book rushes to the end. The climax of the story when your hero is supposed to do the hero thing is anti-climatic and leaves you unfulfilled. I have mixed feelings about moving forward in this series.

Slow burn
Revisado: 11-12-24
This book weaves together an elaborate world at a slow pace. Building layer upon layer of a mystical world with many unfamiliar magic and cultures the heroin encounters. An ember of a once romance burns but is laced with deceptions of half truths. The book ends leaving you wanting more story line progression.
