Get rid of virtual voice!

The story is decent but the virtual voice made it an awful book to listen to. I’m not even half way through it and because of the lackluster voice performance, I’m not even sure of what’s going on anymore.
I can say for a fact that voice actors make up half the entertainment value of an audio book and this is a perfect example of that! In my opinion,If the only option for an audio book is left to virtual voice, keep it in only a readable format until you can afford an actual voice actor for it.

I expected better from this series

This is definitely the worst book in the series. I’m a fan and expected better. I’m hopeful that the next book is written from the original POV. The ONLY reason that I’m willing to read the next book in this series is based upon the previous books before this one in hopes that Mr. Weeks has learned his lesson from this one. Please don’t disappoint.

Couldn’t put it down!

I listen to audiobooks on the regular-usually to and from work as my commute is rather long but this story was so entertaining and exciting that I’d listen to it WHILE working. The unique backgrounds of each character including the protagonists had me hooked from the start. I was quite upset that this was only the first of a budding series! I look forward to the next novel.

I really enjoyed this series. The list of colorful characters and antagonist made it spectacular. The writer’s sense of humor in the mist of such action and SciFi had me laughing throughout the entire series.

Loved the story and the after note!

I had read so many positive reviews about this book when it first came out so I immediately put it on my book list. My only regret is that I hadn’t read it sooner! Such a deep heart wrenching story of lost, romance , triumph and folklore . I loved the characters who at times, reminded me of people in my family. I look forward to reading the next book !
