Historia
Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

Interesting story, terrible narrator
Revisado: 07-22-23
Good story. struggled to finish the story due to the awful narrator performance. She made everyone sound similar and dull, and everyone you heard her voice just sounded like nasal drunks.

Sound editing needs adjustment
Revisado: 10-21-22
loved the first two acts and the performances of the talents in this third installment is stellar, unfortunately the music and sound effects in some places are too loud and overwhelms the performances. This 3rd acts lacks the polish found in the others.

A Dresden files fanfic at best
Revisado: 08-10-21
This reads like a fan fiction of the short stories from the Dresden files universe. Do yourself a favour and pick up the Dresden Files instead. At least the character development there is gradual and deliberate. this book just feels like it rips off characters from that series and pastes new names on to it .

Rushed and shoddy
Revisado: 09-28-20
Story feels rushed just for the sake of putting something out. It feels like a collection of short story ideas crammed into a prelude to (hopefully) a better tale. Not sure if I missed something in the series but there seems to be a continuity issue with regards to Justine. Always enjoys Marster's work but this book was not doing him any favours. Hoping 'Battle Ground' does not disappoint. Not a fan of paying full price for half a tale.

Vain and shallow, the biggest blot on his horizon is having to get out of bed in the morning to train with obsessive and boring old men.

Boring, dull almost pointless story
Revisado: 09-27-18
Did not enjoy the characters, the pacing and the story. 11 chapters in, the story still feels like a boat without a rudder. The performance of the narrator makes already unrelatable characters whiny and extremely unlikable.
