This book starts almost exactly after the end of the first book. ML is wandering the Royals city. she is trying to get access to her men who are in the dungeons until the start of the trials. ML is starting to feel the effects of being away from her anchors. She runs into the princess who immediately recognizes her. she gets her into the castle as a hand maiden. I will never not love the way that ML views any physical movement as torture (I.E Running, cleaning or really just movement in general) there is definitely more plot in this book. we see differently aspects of the plot from many different angles and we see how evil the prince can be. This book feels like it's broken into a few parts. ML finding her way to her men before she finds a 4th mate. the trials, and the aftermath of the trials and the lightheartedness of securing her 4 bonds. I like her 4th mate. however it does feel like it was a cop-out to help further the plot. This book also kind of ends abruptly so im not going to drone on too much because I need to know what happens next. see you after the next installment!

ML is a cupid. she's been a cupid for approximently 50 years. as anyone in her situation she's feeling lonely. constantly giving out love and she can't interact with anyone or anything. not even other cupids. this leads her to slack off at her job causing her to be yanked back to the cupid realm for discipline. there she is told she's being sent to the Fae realm. notorious for their open and free ways when it comes to relationships ML is excited. she soon finds her self at the palace and witnessing a royal wedding. She makes it her duty to make the couple fall in love. however things don't go as planed as the price is a womanizer to the worst degree. ML with her short temper loses it and in the process is shot with magic and is pulled into the Fae physical realm. As she's fleeing she falls out of a window and lands on an island that's only inhabited by 3 men. this is where the story really begins.

I LOVE ML. she's air headed at times super curious of the world around her and constantly horny. she wants to experience everything she's been witnessing over the past 50 years. but the men she's crash-lands into are not so happy to see her and they are not so happy go lucky them self.

this is a hilarious read but also has an interesting story line and can't wait to see where the story takes us. how much more trouble can ML get into when she's not confined to an island. what will happen with the prince will he stop looking for her and what about her men? will they chose her? will they survive the upcoming tournament? what will happen next BRB while I go to find out!!!

I'm obsessed with this series. i love Saige. her personality is defiantly what i look for in a FMC.

Saige is a magic shop owner in a small town she owns the building and there is an apartment above it that her grandma has rented out. (side note: i aspire to be like her grandma when i grow up).
Immediately we meet the guys Fisher, Sloan, Cam and Kai.
with out giving too much spoilers this is my impression of them after the first book.

Fisher-Absolutely Love!! THIS MAN COULD DO NO WRONG
Kai- he's likeable but doesn't really stand out
Cam- Definitely giving Daddy vibes as we well know. i think some boundaries should have definitely been discussed tho.
lastly Sloan: very unlikeable and honestly is giving i act like I'm doing something bad for a good reason but in reality I'm doing it for me and no one else.

Possible 5th guy: the demon. Def going to be my favorite i can already tell. cant wait till that boils over. (me kicking my feet over here)

I dont know what to think about this book. i enjoyed the preface but didn't like the execution. Mia is supposed to be this mafia princess but she really has no back bone or genuine thought in her head. every time she does she is shot down by one of her guards.

I'm all for an Alpha male but this is not Alpha Male this is controlling male with a side of women are possession's. they tell her what to wear, what to eat, where to sit, tell her she cant be mad at her father for up ending her whole life, gets yelled at for kissing some one is public and has to be "put in her place", scolds her for cussing but that is a double standard because they do, gets mad at her for staying out all night when she has LITERALY no control over anything. Lucas kept her out all night. what was she supposed to do argue with him. IM SORRY she cant even argue about what she wants to wear or eat. do you think he would have listened if she said we should head back. NO no he would not have because Mia is not aloud to have a single original thought in her head with out her getting scolded

As for the audio quality. i usually do not mind the robotic nature of AI read stuff. i can always just tune out the issues, its always lacking because its not a human voice and they cant tell nuances but this was one of the worst i have heard.

i reviewed this individually

Fire and Brimstone

Hallie is a highly intelligent young women who just graduated high school and got in to Harvard. She was set on what her future would look like. that is until she got so mad she created an electrical storm and the cat was out of the bag that she wasn't human. little did she know she was not even half human. Her mother is a very powerful witch and her father who was absent her entire life is actually the king of hell Lucifer. Now shes being told that she has no choice but to go to this Magical College where she must learn to control her powers and catch up on all the knowledge she has misses out on her whole life.

If that wasnt enough her long time house cat turned into a man. so happens to be the man she hates and has named cock blocker because he never let her have any fun in high school. he was always there to stop her. Oh and he claims to be her mate and they are betrothed.

i really liked the start to this series. there are many moving parts and seeing her make friends with not only Kein but Azreal and Kernon too was funny at times. i was also obsessed with her parents. i could have totally read a book on their story and been perfectly happy

Hellfire

i really enjoyed this book and am loving the series. this starts shorty after Keen almost died and they are trying to figure out who is behind it. Geysis seems suspicious but not as suspicious as Reese. there is alot and i mean alot of talk about who could be behind the plot. what was the actual motive for the plot, who could be the leader of all these things happening and of course who is Hallie's father. i loved the story but it did kind of get tedious after a while.

One good thing is we get a lots of answers in this book and the plot was pushed forward quite a bit to prep for the last book. I'm not ready for the series to end so im in denial over here.

Inferno

i really enjoyed this book and am loving the series. Hallie is coming into her gifts and is eager to help any way she can. shes growing her allies and knows who is her enemies for the most part. they did a lot of circling each other in this book. But we do get some action and after another one of her mates are targeting all her mates are bonded now and she is not happy she almost lost someone else if it wasn't for Lilith.

i loved seeming Hallie and her mated finally start working as a cohesive group. there was no infighting or jealousy.

Perdition

this is the forth and final book in the fortuna academy series. it had a definite different speed than the rest of the series. they are not at the academy at all for this book. Hallie's parents were taken by Mammon and she is on a war path to get them back.

Hallie, all her mates, Lilith, and all of their allies travel to hell to gather more allies and figure out What is going on in Hell and rescue her parents and deal with Mammon. i was cool to see how the author was able to take all the different myths of hell and make them all seem plausible. Ever legend had their own time ruling hell. they all actually get along for the most part. i wish this wasn't the end and we got to see more of Hallie and her men in hell making a life for them self's with her parents

This book started right when the last one ended with heaven falling into hell and Allie and Jehovah in the center of it. this book was kind of structured weird. there was no big climax. it happened at the beginning of the book. this book followed Allie in the aftermath of bringing down heaven and her coming to terms with her part in the prophecy. honestly this focused on the relationships around her and her mated are all worthless. Jehovah and lucifer are the only ones remotely supportive of her and they have to much baggage as well.

in the end the story just seemed unfinished. the relationship between Allie and lucifer and Allie and Jehovah is settles and i guess Adonis too. but Liam felt still up in the air as well as Amon's relationship. and there is so much still brewing between Jehovah and Lucifer.

i like how the book was structured but it just felt unfinished

i honestly didn't know how to quite feel about this book. i wanted to rate it higher but there were a few things that just irrigated me. i truly rates it a 3.5 but i usually round up.

this book takes place in Britain. this is a very united states review.

Libby is a 3rd year medical student who is doing her clinical rounds. she is portrayed as this unbelievably beautiful women. But at the same time frumpy and unput together. She falls asleep during one of her lectures and the MMC Jamie is the teacher is not happy about it.

The first 1/3 of the book i did not like Jamie. he was constantly rude and had this superiority complex that got old fast.

Libby is a single mother to a 4 year old who is putting her self through medical school by any means necessary . (Beg borrow or steal) which by the way is a crack of Shite she literally takes nothing from any one. never asks for help when she desperately needs it and when its offered freely she still gripes about it.

The Trope of making women ashamed of what they do for a living is getting old. most people in this book were great, and saw her stripping for what it actually was. a way to make good money in a short amount of time so that she could still attend school and take care of her daughter. BUT Jamie and his brother were real Wankers about it. like you both found out because you went to the club you paid to be there. how is that any better than her. its not and its hypocritical. they both eventually pulled the sticks out of their asses. which made no sense to me because their parents were lovely people. after the initial BBQ. where their dad did the most dad thing ever.

in the end i really enjoyed the book. it wasn't quite structured like most books. it wasn't some meet and get together and coast for a little of the book say the i love you's and and then have some third act break up that honestly could have been totally avoided. this book from page 1 felt different. the dual POV really helped understand both characters. and the side characters really just made the story even more entertaining. i saw that Millie and Kira each get their own story so im excited for that.

This book starts immediately after the last one in the aftermath of Allie’s second death. She is now an angel in heaven, who basically has to relearn to everything that comes along with being an angel. I’ve seen this before with characters when they do something in one book and when you get to know that character you think back to the beginning and you can’t fathom how they acted I’m putting Jehovah in this category the way he acted at the end of the first book seems very out of character for who he actually is. I understand the whole self fulfilling prophecy concept of it, but I really don’t like when authors do that.

This book had pretty much all to do with heaven and that’s run there the growing relationship between Allie and Jehovah and a little bit more of the relationship aspects of her and her three mates at this point I’m a little confused as to the relationship with Jehovah and Lucifer And Allie is going to play into that relationship. Book one had to do with hell book 2 had to do with heaven in book 3 is going to be interesting book

Allie had just died and woke up in hell. she's confused because she's in hell and her whole mortal life she did everything she could to get into heaven. Almost immediately she is drawn to the princes of hell Adonis, Amon, and Liam as well as their father Lucifer. she also notes a change in her personality. she's stubborn and unwilling to keep keep her mouth shut to sav her life.

Not a lot truly happens in this book. a little bit of training, a few stolen kisses and words with Lucifer, a random date where she left feeling dejected and a hot and steamy kiss with the jock/book nerd. I'm curious to see where the series will take us

thing are heating up ( pun intended) after the last book she learns that her first mate betrayed her and gave her over to her vampire mates parents, she is now been kidnapped and being tortured. i will say i appreciate the warning page at the beginning of the audiobook. a lot of the times those get left out when its time for narration. our girl is resistant as hell though, gong thorough the torture alone would crack any normal person but she does it while in heat. few things i want to point out. Pixie is freaking adorable. he tries to play this emotionless being but at every turn is showing her how much she means to him.

And who would have thought that the bratty girl desperate to be Luna in book 1 would have such a vital role in the later books. my opinion of a character has not changed so fast before. i really hope we get her story. the way she snatched that pan and beat the worm really showed that maybe things are not as clear and simple as we originally thought.

The way the mated delt with the alpha was priceless it was a little sad seeing Luke go a little dark but it was definitely warranted. in my opinion this story ended too soon i would have loves to see the guys fuss over their children. i honestly could read an entire book about them just goofing off as a family. it was beyond entertaining
