Historia
In the 998th year of the Millennial Kingdom, the season of reaping is at hand. The demons have been cast into the Lake of Fire, and Satan is bound in the bottomless pit, but the biblical prophecies state he will soon be released so God can test the loyalties of the current flesh-born generations on earth.

Doesn’t Follow Scripture
Revisado: 10-21-24
The narration was excellent. The various voices were very good, but I didn’t like the book.
It’s possible that it was my mistake for expecting the author wouldn’t take poetic license. I was hoping this was a story about life in the Millennium Kingdom, but it isn’t. It’s another story about Satan giving man a hard time and God doing nothing about it until He’s good and ready; with some flashbacks of how bad life was leading up to the rapture. I found the story to be frustrating. Why do people assume good = gullible. When the main bad guy went up against an angel and won I returned the book. I applaud the writer in that the story gives all the glory to God and all praises to Jesus, but other than that it wasn’t for me.

Historia
Paleontology professor Logan Ford thought he found a fresh start when he purchased a sixty-seven-acre ranch in the badlands of Montana. Drummed out of academia for his faith-driven principles and acceptance of creationism, Ford just wants to be left alone to dig in the fossil-rich dirt at his new property. Excavating dinosaur bones gives him an unquenchable purpose and lasting contentment. Unfortunately, his past refuses to let go. A former colleague at the university is hellbent on destroying him. Professor Julian Blade has always been envious of Ford’s life and even led the charge in ...

Engaging Story
Revisado: 05-08-24
The characters and setting was very pleasing. I really didn’t know what to expect but I was looking for Christian main character and I got it. I enjoyed the biblical lessons about giants. I also thought the villain was as evil as a villain should be. I wanted to end that guy.
If I had any criticism It would be that the story could have used more character building as they were all interesting and worked well together. A few ancient flashbacks to the days of Noah would have been a great addition. I guess I’m saying, the story was very good and left me wanting more.

Historia
The most dangerous night of the year is upon Coggeshall. Fiends' Night, when the boundary between Vuldranni and hell is the weakest. And so hell comes out to play. To survive the night, Montana must put his entire holding on lockdown and turn hastily made cave apartments into an actual, inviting home for thousands of Coggeshall residents. Most of whom don't really know or like each other. And all of whom have different ideas of what needs to be done on Fiends' Night.

Love This Series
Revisado: 04-09-24
Duke Montana is everything I like in a fiction novel. Hapless hero, funny, immense power, and a heart of gold. The world of Vuldranni gets more and more interesting with each book. The narrator captured the characters perfectly. This is my 2nd, maybe 3rd time listening. I’m so excited about book 15.

Historia
The day millions of people mysteriously vanished from planet earth, the world was forever changed. Oddly enough, most of us that remained thought it was a change for the better. But that was wrong… way wrong. World leaders hailed this new era as a return to the golden age. Life was supposed to be better than it had ever been. But we were just in the calm before the storm. The four horsemen of the apocalypse were waiting in the wings, and the world was rushing head long into a period of death and destruction like we had never imagined. Somehow I made it through alive… that’s ...

The author stuck with The Bible.
Revisado: 03-18-24
I liked the characters. I enjoyed that the main character is still flawed after finding salvation so as not to present a false depiction of a Christian. He’s still human, but he loves God and believes in Jesus, which is what carries him through. It’s well written. I will be listening to the next book.

Good End Times Fiction
Revisado: 03-02-24
The main character was the perfect example of a good guy without the Lord. He had the best intentions and a high morality. A very respectable young man; with all that he lacked redemption. I felt that the ending was a little rushed, but not enough to keep me from the next book. Lastly, the virtual voice misses the inflections of human conversations. I hope this isn’t going to be a new trend. I love many of the Audible narrator’s and would probably cancel my subscription if that happened.

New End times Twist
Revisado: 02-12-24
I loved the alien twist on the end times. I’ve been studying this idea for a while now and I like the author‘s take on it. He’s done his research. If you like science fiction and end-times fiction this series checks all the boxes.
One more note- The virtual voice did a pretty decent job of reading. It wasn’t as good as a good reader who may have added the right inflections and emotions, but it was much better than a bad reader who’s just not right for the story.

Montana's new life in Vuldranni, the medieval fantasy game world he lucked into, isn't quite the tranquil extended fishing trip he'd been hoping for. But you gotta admit, he's doing pretty well for himself. Now he's Montana Coggeshall, heir to a dukedom. If he can get his crew to Osterstadt and claim it in time.

I won’t be the jerk who gives away the ending but that ending got me right in the gizzard! I’m loving this series. I have nothing negative to say and I’m looking forward to getting to know the characters better. I sure hope Montana invests more points into wisdom🤭

Historia
Daisy McCrae's life is in tatters. She's lost her job, broken up with her boyfriend, and has been reduced to living in the attic above her family's store, the Union Street Bakery, while learning the business. Making things worse is the constant feeling of not being a "real" McCrae, since she was adopted as a child and has a less-than-perfect relationship with her two sisters. Then a long-standing elderly customer passes away, and for some reason she bequeaths to Daisy a journal dating back to the 1850s...

The Story Was Ruined For Me
Revisado: 09-29-23
I was rather enjoying the story until the scene where the nurse pushed the old woman in the wheelchair through the door. The writer wrote an unflattering description of a woman and noted that she was black. What color was the woman in the chair? The writer just said she was a woman; ergo, a human female. In her world I guess the base color for humans is white. Anyway, the story really is ok. So far the characters were likable and the storyline relatable, but that part affected me negatively. I must have reached my limit for micro-aggressions this week. The editors should have caught this. Maybe they did.

The galaxy is on fire. The ruthless Adamant Empire is sweeping across all of space leaving only chard ashes in their wake. No civilization can withstand their firestorm of conquest. But they made one serious mistake along their path to galactic domination. They pissed off Jon Ryan. Bad move. That's never a healthy thing to do.
