I loved everything about this book. It stays true to the original source material and you get so much insight into the original trilogy and to the other prequel. It tears you apart to know what really happened with Hom Mitch, and all the things he must’ve been going through during their original trilogy. I liked the small epilogue where you get a little insight that he’s kept his promise to his sweetheart, but ultimately has been through so much trauma. It’s heartbreaking and every sense of the world, but it’s worth every second.

Unique storytelling

The story is well written the narration is excellent with all of the main characters. I deeply enjoyed the story and the unique storytelling and first person narration. Usually that’s not my favorite way to read, but it was so well done.

Fun and imaginative

I enjoyed it and I will read more of the series. I do enjoy the dreamworks adaptation more and am looking forward to the live action.

History and plot development

It’s a good book and it’s necessary for the plot. It’s best read in tandem with EOS. I think I appreciated the story of TOD when read this way rather than by itself. If I had read TOD without EOS I wouldn’t have stayed with the characters as much.

Action packed and a roller coaster of emotion

You will not be disappointed. The author keeps the pace moving in this second book. You will enjoy meeting new characters and rooting for our two antagonists. I didn’t see a way out of this but the author pulled every stop and made this a great well rounded story that you need to pause and bask in after you conclude it. I am definitely going to read the next two.

Everything about this is spectacular. The plot development and characters are well written. The story is action packed l. The novel itself is hard to put down as the plot continues and the action scenes are written so well. You really develop a liking for all the characters, especially our main two romantic pair. I definitely love their dynamic and it’s so hard not to root for them. Both of them are endearing and you want so much for everything to be OK if you’re a fan of Throne of glass you’ll enjoy this novel the audio version is well read
