Interesting and excellent Leadership Book
Revisado: 07-04-22
Intriguing how leadership on the battlefield is analogous with leadership in corporations. I would say it really extends to family as well and most any organization or institutional leadership. The idea of extreme ownership is central to success of any family or organization unit and the book does a great job of communicating that. Worth a read.

I am in technical sales of hardware components in the mil aerospace and space industries. While this business fable was written for management consultants and other similar service industries, the principles are excellent and applicable to serving our customers from design support, all the way through to delivery of our product to the customer and even to after sales support. I highly recommend this book to anyone in sales management. Executive Director of Sales

Historia
New York Times best-selling author Patrick Lencioni has written a dozen books that focus on how leaders can build teams and lead organizations. In The Motive, he shifts his attention toward helping them understand the importance of why they're leading in the first place. Lencioni thrusts his listeners into a day-long conversation between rival CEOs. Shay Davis is the CEO of Golden Gate Alarm, who, after just a year in his role, is beginning to worry about his job and is desperate to figure out how to turn things around.

Motive for being a manager & why it is important
Revisado: 04-25-22
A refreshing book that does an excellent job at identifying and defining the motives for leadership. Simply put, one is focused on self and the other focused on others. This book will help some one aspiring to leadership within a company to better understand if it is something they truly want to do and it will also help people who are in leadership to become better or possibly in some cases, as it did for Shey in the book, help them understand they may not really want to be in a leadership position. Enjoy!

A Way Back to fullness of Life in Christ
Revisado: 04-13-21
To be candid, I generally have not liked John Eldridge books. So when this one was suggested to me...I rolled my eyes, but picked it up as an audio book and began to listen to it. it is exceptional in so many ways. it truly helps one to recognize the impact our world of instant everything has done to us. It offers a life line back to a healthier, fuller and more joyful life that God intends for each and every one of us. Yet is not holier than thou not unrealistic. Instead the author acknowledges that we still live in a high tech world...of which there is some good in that...but the author provides tools to help you bring balance to life through connection with the God who gives us so much and loves us so much that he wants nothing more than for us to live our lives to the fullest. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. I am pretty sure I will frequently listen to chapter 14 and the Daily prayer for years to come. Enjoy!

Loved it! Easily understood and easy to listen too. Very short work on the subject that should leave one with a pragmatic understanding and skill set to make use of the concepts of Hungry, Humble and Smart (people smart that is) in your work and daily life. Highly recommend this for anyone in Highschool, College or the work world. Good for a family even as well as the characteristics examined are virtuous inside and out side of a work environment.
