Maybe I’m spoiled with these duel narrations from talented voice actors but I’ve listened to better AI’s in the past. Perhaps have a female and male AI narrating. I often got confused which character was speaking

Silly yet heart felt story

Written in a short yet practical way. I wish the main male voice was more sexy? He sounded too old. The rest of the male characters made sense being that it was comical but I didn’t like that Nicholas’ voice sounded cringey.

Cara Bastone is by far my fave author

This author never seems to amaze me! She spins a romance story out of this world! (Or in it?!?) I crave her stories and listened to every single one! This one is so out of the norm, but so cool nonetheless! The concept so sci-fi but interesting! Voice actors were just as extraordinary!

I’ve listen to a couple of this author’s books and this is the best yet. Very cute phone conversation setting second chance story. Almost like Cara Bastone (but I love all her stories)

Pleasantly surprised and loved the audiobook actors/narration. Recently started up audible again after having it a few years back and it was nothing like this. The story is very compelling. The actors portrayal with all the sound effects is like watching a movie through your ears. The author’s choice of words are very witty and thoughtful and concisely descriptive that I as the audience felt every nuance and awkwardness. I always had a nagging feeling who the heroine was but, she kept it so nonchalant that you just brushed it aside and continued listening. I normally can call who the predictable mystery is but it always felt like she was so far away physically . When she is finally revealed, I was pleasantly surprised and so very glad at the same time. (Touché Cara for keeping us in suspense!) I’ve read/listened about another book where the comic book artist portrays their significant other in their comic and I secretly love it. I wish that actual drawing was the cover of this authors book. It would be so awesome! I turned on this audiobook not knowing there are other stories but knowing that other characters in this book will have a story (Vera & Fred “Cal”) which I’ll indeed read next.
