Historia
The year of our Lord, 1821, Portsmouth, England. Sapphire Cornwell, with her striking blue eyes, seeks excitement. She thinks nothing of brandishing a sword or firing an arrow, something a refined lady shouldn't even think about. When she is introduced to the handsome Logan Steel, she finds that he is more than a match for her fiery nature. Several encounters lead her to discover that he has no hesitation in putting her over his knee for a sound spanking due to her bad attitude. Abducted, Sapphire finds herself taken on board a pirate ship, only to find out the captain is none other than ...

Too much “spanking” borders on abuse unless you like that kind of thing and I absolutely hate virtual voice.

Good mix of mystery and love

Although I enjoyed the story there is a but and for me it’s a very big but. I do not like the virtual voice it’s too robotic with not an ounce of feeling and a lot of the time words are mispronounced and run together. I didn’t notice the fact that it was virtual if I had I wouldn’t have bought it.

Being a person interested in the American Civil War this was well done and fascinating from a first person point of view.

Learned I a lot

We learned so much from this course. Amazing how it seems we’ve not payed attention to our history as we make the same mistakes over and over.

Historia
Verily, the story Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healings, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes. Even the considerable wiles and devotion of the Savior's pal may not be enough to divert Joshua from his tragic destiny. But there's no one who loves Josh more (except maybe "Maggie," Mary of Magdalan) and Biff isn't about to let his extraordinary pal suffer and ascend without a fight.

Enjoyed this one
Revisado: 02-20-20
We really enjoyed listening to Lamb don't go into this thinking you're getting a religious story it's very tongue-in-cheek.
Narrator is very good. We do recommend it for a fun read.
