This is my 10th or so book from Avery and loved most of it. My personal preference is less drama but eaxh to their own so can't rate that. What I didn't like and actually ruined the whole book for me was the epilogue. Other rewiews mentioned the issue, and I dont want to spoil anything but the end left a bad taste. :( sad as the books set in this universe are my happy place.

Great read!

Loved everything about this book. Great characters, great interactions, heartwarming side characters. It is an easy read, no surprises which is exactly what I was looking for. Not too much spice but just enough. Can't wait to "read" more from the author! Narrators were both excellent, great production.

if you like a romance with some excitement this book is probably for you. I prefer the more calm and peaceful stories where the characters just live their lifes this is not like that. Book has some spicey scenes but not many. All in all was nice.

WOW What a great story!

Was hesitant after the 1st book, but as others suggested decided to give the 2nd book a go. and I am so happy I did!! Great storyline, everything already starts to fall into place. Wonderfully thought out twists and turns. Looking forward to the next book.

Heartwarming

A lovely and wonderful clean romantic story. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. I think it's worth to mention that the main character is dealing with the loss of a loved one, which can be triggering for some.

This was my first cozy mystery, and loved it.
There is some repetition if you listen to the books in quick succession, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters.
The story comes together, and easy to follow while enjoying the details. I will definitely listen to it again!!
