In the style of How to loose a guy in 10 days and similar stories.

A bit uneven and not all storylines were satisfying, but generally a cute story with interesting main characters with a lot of spark between them.

Really good performances.

The author and MC think they're funny but aren't

It's a decent LitRPG. The MC is an idiotic dude-bro who think he's funny, but really isn't. Aleron Kong seems to think he's a funny author but every attempt at humor is cringe at best. It does seem that the MC is capable of some character growth, but every step forward leads to a step back.

But the world building is interesting, the LitRPG elements are great and natural, side characters are interesting and the overall mystery of the land is intriguing.

Uneven but generally good

The book and characters are really charming, but like many romcoms every problem could be solved with a conversation. I get it, they are insecure, but god it was frustrating at times. But all in all it's good, but not great.

The narration grew on me. It takes a while to get used to, but by the end I couldn't see anyone else reading it.

Good but feels like a draft

I love Molly and her writing and this is a charming little novella, but it feels rushed and incomplete. It feels more of a draft to a full length novel that she turned in to a novella and it suffers because of it.

Everything feels rushed, the relationships don't develop, they kind of just magically are repaired. The MC:s character arc is just that she decides to not be what she has been for 20 years and automatically becomes someone new. It feels unearned. Too much happens off page.

If one can handle these aspects of the story, it's an easy to listen to and charming little story and Andrea elevates it a lot with her performance.

You know when you can't stop smiling

Cara Bostone is a master of creating a feeling of spark and that goofy smile you get when you're falling for someone.

A wonderful little story about two strangers on a bus with instant chemistry and how they work together against all odds to get to New York for an important interview for her.

The performances are so incredible. You can feel the love they have for the story and their characters and you can feel that goofy smile on their faces. And the chemistry between them is great. Among the best I've heard.

I love all the books in this series and eventhough this isn't the best one, it made me smile the most.

Utterly charming

Sweet and short

A sweet and short story with cute and likeable characters. A bit heavy on clichés and story tropes, but still enyoable. The narrators elevated the material.

Did not want it to end

Pure entertainment.

Very different tone from the first two books. Very funny, kinda silly (but in a good way), romantic, exciting and suspenseful. Sexy and steamy as well.

Tyler and Tess does a wonderful job as narrators as usual. I love, love, love Tess Irondale.

Surprisingly wonderful

Uses every trope in the genre and still it just works. Great characters and a really fun story

Tess Irondale is my current favourite narrator, and she is wonderful as always in this.
