Light heart and funny with a little kink

The book was smartly written, funny, with a hint of kink that was not over done. The hero is in love at first sight, even with snarky comments coming his way. I loved the book because he went for the curvy girl and made her believe and want more. The book left me wanting more from Stephanie Evanovich.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I have already told people about a great new start to a series. It was fun read how Nexi would get out of the next scrape she had. Even though it wasn't her fault she had kills after her. It kind of puts me in mind of a Stephanie Plum book, and they do referrance Stephanie Plum in the book. I more see Barry as Joe than Ranger as he said in the book. He is too sweet of a guy to be a Ranger.

Would you consider the audio edition of Feral Heat to be better than the print version?
I like them equally. You can swift back and forth with no looking for where you are in the story.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I have been waiting for Jace's story and am sorry it was so short. Also I feel bad for Deni and what happened to her.
What does Cris Dukehart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Just life to the characters that I like.

I don't know the Hellions of Halstead hall series, or the Sherbrook bride books.
How could the performance have been better?
The performer sound like she was biting her tongue and lisping with Emma and it makes it hard to listen to the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I hate to say it but I got the book on kindle and audible and just had to read the book. The book is a great read in one sitting if you can.
Any additional comments?
I have loved the series had gotten some in paper back years ago, but loved seeing them in audio format.

So I have been looking at these books for a while now and not knowing the author just passing them up, but a brought them because I was short on credits and they were cheap. I am so glad I did they are really good and can't wait for the next one. You kind of know who it is going to be about, but you still need to know what happens to the people you have got to know in the first two books. The dragons are so hot you wouldn't mind being there dinner, your still alive and happy as a clam. What more could you ask for.

I now own all the tittles in this series and they keep getting better with each book. They build on each other and change things as they go along. The writing make it hard to wait for the next book.You fly through the book then have to wait a year for the next, but they are worth the wait. I can't wait to see what happens with Kate next year. It is like family you only see once a year and miss them dearly. Please speed up the writing, but keep the quality of the writing as well.

This is classic Nora Roberts. She has done a few books along this line, but can still may the story fresh and new make you feel for the people. You have a feeling how it will end, but you have to keep reading/listening. You need to know every twist and turn of the plot. It is a great job on her part and i think this will be one of here lifetime movies. lol The narrater is great too giving life to the people. Drawing you in with a smooth voice, making for easy listen.
