FANTASTIC BOOK!

I would have to describe this book as a modern day mystery with a touch of science fiction. It is set in Oklahoma and is very accurate in its descriptions. The story revolves around some long-hidden gold and the bad guys who are after it, keeping the good guys really busy trying to keep law and order. This is a very enjoyable book that I highly recommend to anyone who loves a good story that will hold their attention. Also, the narrator is excellent for this story.

What A Disappointment!

When I buy an audiobook with James Patterson's name on it, I expect to enjoy a gooood story! When he 'co-writes' with new 'authors,' the story is usually not very good. Also, the narrator with the "Australian" accent adds absolutely nothing to a very dull story! In the future, I won't be so eager to buy everything with James Patterson's name on it. :(

Surprisingly Good Audiobook

Since this audiobook is one of the free selections for September, I really didn't expect much. I was surprised! This is a good story with a good narrator and it caught my attention from the first sentence and held it until the very last sentence. It is NOT a really exciting story - just a very interesting story. I highly recommend it for a pleasant diversion - especially since it is FREE!

WOW! This book is amazing!!! Since it was one of the daily specials, cost only $1.95, and sounded interesting, I had nothing to lose, and had another book to listen to. I had never heard of this author, but was willing to give the book and author a try. As it turned out, this is one of the BEST books I've ever listened to. It grabbed my attention the minute the first CD started playing, and didn't stop until the last word was uttered. I would NEVER have expected the ending that this book has. It is well worth listening to. I plan to see if S. E. Green has any more books because I sure like her style!

For anyone who enjoys English Murder Mysteries, you will LOVE this one! It is completely delightful with many turns and twists that keep you guessing and an ending you would never be able to guess! All of that - AND - it's free. It's the first book in the WHODUNNIT? series. The second book is also free. I hope there will be many more of these mysteries, and it would be wonderful if they were free, too.
