Historia
Two Einhans have been found but the third is still at large. Ahren and his companions have to traverse a kingdom plagued by unrest, sail along the treacherous east coast of Jorath and reach the dwarf enclave of Silver Cliff. Falk, Ahren's master hopes to find in its depths the third Einhan, a dwarf friend from his mercenary days, and to win him over for the Ritual of Naming that awaits his apprentice. To gain the dwarf's assistance, they must help him in his solitary watch, that tradition of the little people which allows a dwarf to attain his own individual name.

Wonderful storytelling, world building, breakdowns, and plot line. I have been having a blast every second of this book. I have not found a character to dislike and lost track of any details. Terrific!

Turns into a romance novel with the usual scifi fantasy. Fun listen! I hope this is the Phantoms end though, they deserve it

I mean the whole series so far takes place within less than a week but the action sequences at the end just went by quick. Otherwise OTF!!!

To survive the notorious prison IK-2 and assassinate Russian President Vladimir Petrov, John Dempsey had to become rosomakha, the wolverine. Now, back home in America, he’s trying to put the pieces of his life at Ember back together. But which man returned from Russia—Dempsey, or the wolverine? From the way his teammates look at him, it’s obvious they’re not sure, and neither is he. Historia
After facing war, death, unruly gods, and unmitigated evil, Minalan the Spellmonger is forced to return to Farise, the site of his earliest battles, with the simple assignment to conquer the subtropical city-state and expel the pirates that plague the kingdom’s shipping. Tired of warfare, Minalan embarks on a clandestine campaign to do so, assuming an alias and setting up shop in Farise as a mere Practical Adept as cover for his operation. Recruiting a cadre of talented agents to assist, he reluctantly begins the task of infiltrating and observing Farisian society.

By far my most favorite and cherished series. Each book is like looking into the looking glass of a mythical world, latent with adventure. The character arcs and lore building is tremendous.

Ada…
Revisado: 07-14-23
Everything was fantastic until the Ada part (you’ll understand when you get to it). The story progression is great. Just feels like there is only room for a certain number of main characters and her arc was an after thought. Still, I’m pleased with everything.

Historia
“The Heron” is the nickname a big-city accountant has attached to himself in his new home near San Diego, where he’s using the alias to avoid a hit man who may be after him. It seems a former client believes that The Heron has skipped town with several million dollars not his own. Don Winslow’s ensuing, entertaining yarn is by turns twisty, dark, and comical as we observe the delicate dance between the pursuer and the pursued.

Batman indeed
Revisado: 02-24-23
Don’t expect this book to carry like 1-3, it delves deeper into Jason’s darker character arc. It does not have the rainbow fun like books 1-3 did where Jason is exploring a whole new world, enemies, and friends. I think 4 & 5 are quite similar to a DC comic’s batman in the way Jason carries on in his world. The ending of book 5 gave me that feel from the first 3, there’s a blatant transition that takes place that gives hope this saga will continue like it once did. I appreciate 4 & 5 for this perspective on our beloved hero. The story telling is still quite incredible. I can’t wait for the next one. Keep it up Keith and Shirtaloon!
