These two always make a great pair, but this is one of my favorites. A lot of fun from start to finish...I only wish it was longer.

great performance by king, and the story was really good right up until the ending. I'd still say it's worth listening to, but be prepared for an ending that makes no sense.

I gave up 10 chapters into this word problem

Dan Simmons has written some of my favorite books, but I couldn't get through this one. I'm all about details and I love hard sci fi that goes deep into the science, but this just kept turning into high school word problems. Just tell me the formula you used to solve how fast the car was going when it slammed on the brakes. You don't need to show me your work for 3 pages. If A train left Boston at 10am on Wednesday going 65 mph what time tomorrow can I return this book?

somehow predictable, and still unbelievable

This story is predictable from the start. The only thing that was a surprise was the ineptitude of the police, and literally everyone Brent comes into contact with willingness to overlook some pretty bonkers red flags. He convinced 2 cops to cover up a murder just because he got out of the car during a ride along and killed a guy?!?! "they'll have my badge for this". so instead let's commit some serious felonies and risk prison time...

This is the exact opposite of the neighbor who always says in an interview that a serial killer was always nice and they never saw this coming..... This guy is off the rails from the start and everyone he comes into contact with should have seen this coming.

I couldn't put this one down. Another amazing story from King, and unbelievable narration. This was my first time hearing Seth Numrich, and I can't wait for his next one. He's up there with the likes of Ray Porter and R.C Bray. His interpretation of Claudia alone deserves an award.

Good story...but

Gave this series a chance since the first one was free, and it was narrated by the man himself Ray Porter. Unfortunately looking through the reviews of the rest of the series I think I'm going to call it quits here. With so many people agreeing that the author seems to be "milking" the story into too many books as well as Ray being replaced after the third book I think I'm one and done.

I need to take a serious look at myself after this. Any sane person would have ran when they started rapping. For some reason I stuck around and finished it.

soooo many "okays"

Someone else mentioned the amount of times okay was said. At the time that seemed like an odd thing to pick up on, but it's impossible not to.

I couldn't finish this. The story was a neat idea, but the main character is basically a 7 hour Chad skit from SNL.
