Historia
Six sci-fi themes, six stories Alien Invasion, Dark A.I., Time-Travel, High-Tech Hindu Mythology, Djinn Folklore, Telekinetics, and life-consuming cosmic entities are some major themes in this book. The author has woven these subjects into six tightly-knit, fast-paced science fiction tales. 1. Nark-astra, The Hell Weapon: The weapons he possesses make him the destroyer of worlds, and he burns for revenge. A high-tech take on ancient Indian mythology. 2. Death by Crowd: The dark desires of the masses; darknet websites fueled by a crypto-currency. What lurks in the background - an advanced ...

Not good, but not the worst
Revisado: 10-27-24
First, the author frames these stories as real in parallel universes. Then in one of the stories a character says he thinks humans are AI because we can think and have no clear beginning which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Other animals definitely have thoughts. They may not be as complex as ours, but thinking is not unique. And evolution is pretty clear on how humans began. Just kind of feels like the author needs to go outside and touch grass.

Historia
When her mom inherits an old, crumbling mansion, Seda's almost excited to spend the summer there. Except now her mom wants to renovate, rather than sell the estate - which means they're not going back to the city...or to Seda's friends and school. As the days grow shorter, Seda is filled with dread. They're about to be cut off from the outside world, and she's not sure she can handle the solitude or the darkness it brings out in her. Then a group of teens get stranded near the mansion during a blizzard. Seda has no choice but to offer them shelter....

Revisado: 06-02-24
It was very YA cringey but the ending was 😮 so I enjoyed it and recommend for an entertaining read

Historia
Dr. Hugh Meyer believed he had created the ultimate miracle. Using the DNA of ancient creatures preserved in the Arctic, he had genetically engineered one of the most remarkable species of sea creature to ever exist: the Serpent Eel. Believed to possess the cure for countless diseases, the creature holds great promise for the medical community. All goes awry when the beast escapes containment. With a rapid growth rate and remarkable physical evolution, the beast travels to the coastal town of Spiral Bay. There, the creature designed to save human life instead starts taking it.

Pulp for Men
Revisado: 05-31-24
Written by a man for men. This author cannot write women well and the drama was ridiculous and was like 50% of the book. The actions people took was also pretty unbelievable like people couldn't even wait a day before going back to the beach? And the monster is absolutely overpowered. It's like a 14-year old watched a bunch of 00's monster movies and then wrote his own.
As for the narrator, they did a good job doing different accents and everything, but just didn't do a great job with the women, though I'm not sure I've heard a good one, so I don't judge that too harshly.
