Another great story from Devney!

I loved this. The only thing I would change was Sasha opening up more to Jax and letting him in instead of waiting till 85%-90% of the book. Would have liked to know more of Sasha’s story because I don’t feel like we got a lot of that. Other than that, I thought it was great and thought Jax was a great character.

Narrators were fantastic and enjoyed listening to them!

Wes Beckham has once again proven that he is the superior fictional man than Tyler has ever written, in my opinion.

This audio is a quick listen to get you into the upcoming holiday mood. You briefly meet Rae and Wes in Tyler’s “The Worst Kept Secret”. And just getting that small glimpse into their dynamic has you asking the question “well, how did it begin?”

Their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS from the get-go. And when Wes Beckham falls, he falls HARD and fast!

The narrators bring this story to a whole other level. Their acting gives you the feelings and emotions.

What a ride!

Well this was nothing short of a fun ride. I enjoyed this from the moment the narrators were giving out trigger warnings! By chapter 2, I was picking my jaw up off the floor. This was undeniably the best audiobook I have listened to this year!

Do I have a new favorite written by Elsie Silver? Yes, I absolutely do.
Do I have a new favorite that knocked Cade Eaton out of the top spot? You bet your sweet ass I do!

This book is so special and so perfect in all the best ways. The immediate connection, the banter back and forth, the quick wit from the kids, just everything.

As soon as I was finished with this book, I immediately started over. It is that good and it is that perfect.

AMAZING!!

THIS D*MN BOOK! Catherine completely blew it out of the park with Delicate Escape. In my opinion, probably her best work to date which speaks a lot because she’s consistently giving out bangers. It captivated me from the very first page with the prologue. I couldn’t put it down and actually finished in 6 hours or less. This felt different than Catherine’s usual plots because you immediately know who the villain is…well one of them. And I was not mad about it. It added more to the story, the character growth within Thea, Thea’s dialogue and story.

Thea was the epitome of someone who is just trying to survive. She comes to Sparrow Falls hiding from someone who not only ruined her life but made her suffer very traumatic events. To be honest, I don’t even know how she was standing let alone just surviving because the events that took place would have taken anybody out including myself.

Shep is coming out of the events that took place in Fragile Sanctuary with his sister and feels responsible. So it just adds to his mindset that he feels worthless.

These two characters needed one another. Her needing to trust someone and let someone in that can help her build back her courage and confidence. Him needing her so he can feel worthy of protecting those he cares about.

And yes you get more of Lolli and her crazy antics along with Walter and even a cat named Moose that adds humor in perfect spots that soften the seriousness of the book. It was welcomed everytime they were on the page.
