Gritty Dark Romance!

In Fury Lies Mischief (Midnight Mayhem Book 2) is a suspenseful dark romance with lots of angst and grit.
Saskia is such a bad ass heroine, I really enjoyed her and Killian's journey from enemies to lovers.
Michelle Price and Walker Williams were both new to me narrations, i thought they did a fantastic job capturing the emotions and tension between the main characters.

Hidden Truths by Nikki Ash & K Webster is a deliciously dark forced marriage romance.
This suspenseful and drama filled mafia romance was a lot of fun to listen to, sarah puckett was a perfect fit for Talia and for a new to me narrator i was really happy with Jeffrey Holz's performance as Kostas.
Hidden Truths is a great listen for dark romance lovers.

Sicko by Amo Jones is a genius New Adult Dark Romance full of steam & suspense. I adore this book, I read Sicko back 2021 and have been eagerly awaiting its audio release, the audiobook for Sicko was a brilliant example of how great narrators can only improve a fantastic story. Jade is one of my favorite characters that Sarah Puckett has narrated. Matt Haynes is one of my favorite new male narrators from the last year, his voice is perfect for dark roles.

Shallow by Cora Kenborn is a Second Chance Enemies to Lovers Romance.
Shiloh & Cary's story had lots of angst and drama while the broken characters struggled with trying deal with past mistakes that lead the hero to try and seek revenge and both characters learn to move on and be happy with their self and their life.
Sarah Puckett & Gregory Salinas's performance of the audiobook brought a lot to this angsty romance.

Devil With The Devil by Elizabeth O'Roark is a boss-employee romance with a broody hero.
Hayes and Tali's story was slow-burn and angsty with both the hero and heroine struggling with insecurities, past trauma and family drama. I enjoyed the sweet ending.
Rose Dioro performance of this single pov romance was brilliant, she never disappoints.

Sweeper by Amy Daws is fun Frenemies to Lovers Sports Romance about a cocky American football player that moves to London to play soccer professionally and learn more about his famous half siblings.
Zander and Daphney's story is a steamy romantic comedy with lots of banter and all the feels. The duet narration was the highlight of this audiobook, Teddy Hamilton and Faye Adele were amazing as Zander and Daphne and it was great to have Will M Watt & Stella Hunter voicing supporting characters in the Harris Brothers world.

Suspenseful Romance

Salvation by Melissa Ellen is a suspenseful romance with lots of mystery and intrigue.
I found Ally and Merrick's story to be like a mafia romance crossed with an episode on Criminal Minds, I strongly suggest you listen to Burden (Book #2) in this series before Salvation as there is quite a bit of the storyline that continues through these two books.
The storyline in this book was my favorite in the series but I would have liked more build-up to the characters relationship.
Connor was brilliant as the dangerous hero Merrick and I thought Chloe Ryan was a great choice to narrate strong and confident Ally.

From start to finish B and Jamie's love story is a series of misfortunate events and missed chances at happiness but their connection is so strong that you will never give up on them finally getting their Happily Ever After.
I listened to the 5th Anniversary Edition Audiobook of A Love Letter To Whiskey with bonus content, I really enjoyed the narration by Lauren Sweet, Edward Black & Hannah Chiciana. I think the story was more enjoyable with the added content from Jamie's POV.

Declan and Francesca's dark romance was a twisty suspenseful story with a hero obsessed with revenge after his mother was killed. Declan did not expect to fall for Francesca and it was great to see him soften a little for her and protect her from harm.
Connor Crais and Chloe Ryan were fantastic at portraying the characters, accents and emotion in the audiobook of Burden.

There is lots of contention and push and pull in this twisty, suspenseful story and I'm sure there will be even more to come in book 2 of this duet
I listened to the audiobook of Bad Blood and thought that Aaron Shedlock & Stephanie Nemeth Parker were great choices for Thalia & Santi.
