Historia
The first time I laid eyes on Henley James, I was mesmerized. The chemistry between us was like nothing I’d ever felt. Impeccable suit, dimpled smile. He was charming and gorgeous, sophisticated and suave. He gave me his business card and asked me to call. His dating game was strong; I was gone from his first smile. I’d love to tell you our date was a raging success, but it wasn’t. Far from it. I decided right there on that day that Henley James and I would forever be mortal enemies; I would never think of him again.

A GREAT BOOK!! but…
Revisado: 08-23-24
Ugh, I love this so much. Definitely give this a listen/read if you want an amazing book. The story is GREAT and the female narrator brings Juliet to life, she is actually one of the best narrators I’ve heard in a while.
BUT… the male narrator really spoiled this for me. His voice was so monotonous. All the male parts sounded the same, he was slow and to be honest at times it felt like he was reading a manual... Definitely the wrong choice for the male lead. Also didn’t sound manly enough for Henley. I even considered reading the male chapters and listening to the female.

WARNING… You will want back the hours you wasted of your life…
Revisado: 02-11-24
You know when something is so bad that it’s good?! This is definitely NOT that.
Unfortunately for me, if I start a book, a movie, an audiobook.. etc; I have to finish it. It’s something I wish I could change because I want to really blame the author for taking away 2 hours of my life.
This was also my first audiobook read by AI. And it 100% sounds like a book read by AI.
Wish I could award 0 stars.

Audiobooks are too far behind…
Revisado: 11-18-23
I absolutely love this series but the narrator takes too long to record them. It’s so frustrating when a new book comes out and then we’re waiting months and months for the audiobook. This is going to be my last, which is a shame as Sam Dewhurst is amazingly good… But when it’s a successful continued series like this, it needs to come out at the same time.

Historia
Photographer Isla Wilson is thrilled she's landed her dream job, but the clients who hired her are getting stranger by the day. It sounded so perfect—a month's assignment at the lush Scottish Highlands property of architect Alban McGregor, and his wife, Jessica. But in the woods, there's a playhouse with a chilling history. Two years ago, the McGregors' daughter Elodie was abducted and then died in that playhouse. The townspeople insist her abductor had to be a stranger in their town. Alban refuses to knock the playhouse down, even keeping a picture of it on his wall.

What the hell.
Revisado: 12-10-22
Had to finish this on Kindle. Got to chapter 4 of the audio book and had to turn it off. How the hell was this narrator have been given the job?? I have never heard such a bad Scottish accent in my entire life.
Completely ruined the audio book.

I love Hugh
Revisado: 10-18-22
Honestly the Hugh storyline is one of the best parts about this series. I really didn’t like the last book, purely because he wasn’t in it. I still sometimes struggle with this series as I think it’s very ‘basic’ … But, it’s good fun.

Historia
Anna Fox lives alone - a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

Revisado: 02-28-18
This was my first audio book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It helps that it was such a good story. I absolutely love Anna the main character and it's very well written and enjoyable. I would completely recommend this! (Also the narrator has such a lovely voice)
