Reading this book was a pleasure. I felt like I was walking through the journey with them. It seems that nothing was held back in the writing of the daily living.

Good story lots of corners

The story was great overall. Sometimes the story seemed to drag a little bit more than necessary, and I wanted to get to the point of that particular section.
Other times my curiosity was entangled in the story twists.
The narrators were great as their own self not so much for their secondary characters maybe I am just not familiar with the narrators.

Over all a Very good read for the third book in the series

Just not it.

I love Nora Roberts and JD Robb, but I just could not get into this. It’s really old and it reads dated and stodgy. Characters weren’t at all well developed or likable. I finished a Nora book right before this one and loved all 16 hours. This one wasn’t even 6 hrs and I could not wait for it to be over.

Great Book, Terrible Narration

I enjoyed the concept of the book and the exploration of the subject matter very much. The narrators reading of the book was fine when he was just reading…but his interpretation of women and children was distracting and annoying to the point that I had to take breaks from listening. I have never done that in any of the other 675 audiobooks I’ve listened to previously.

I couldn’t get past the narration

The narration in this book was hard to tolerate so much so I got halfway through the book and just stopped. I like to know how it ended, but I couldn’t tolerate the narration and any longer computer generated narration is exactly that without feeling without anything.

I am loving this series

A lot of Siri’s become predictable This one has not. The characters are developed well in the plot is interesting. I love the fact that every book so far has had its own set of problems as well as solutions even the villains are different types very well written thank you for an interesting series. I hate that the next book is the last one.

Fantastic balance

A key thing in this book for me was the balance that it had. The writer gave a good bit of suspense, of comedy, and of the west. There was also a great plot in a story, along with twists and turns the kept you on edge very happy to have read this book and looking forward to the next one.

The story was a let down to me

The book was readable, and I did finish it. The story wasn’t developed as well as the last one. This book almost appeared predictable, which made it somewhat boring. With that said I wondered throughout the book if the author wasn’t disinterested themselves and just needed to finish the series and get the last daughter done so the series could be Completed

Overall for the series I loved it just not this book

Absolutely the best book

I loved every part of this book. The reader was magnificent, the characters were so different such a great set of twists and turns. Absolutely my favorite in the series. Expertly written nothing was left undone.

Couldn’t take it

I absolutely could not suffer through the narration. I tried every speed I could manage. Looks like the books could’ve been good. But after the conclusion of chapter 9, I just felt like it wasn’t worth touching through it. There was no anticipation of the next thing going to happen, because I just couldn’t get past all the brassy over acting of the narrator.
