Historia
New York State's Belltower Landing is a lakeside resort town where tourists spend their summer days boating, floating, and paddle-boarding on the water. It's also the perfect place to cuddle up with a good book and enjoy a cup of tea, courtesy of Tomes & Tea. Owned and operated by Jazzi and her best friend Dawn Fernsby, the book bar is beloved by vacationers and locals alike, but browsers grabbing brews in the off season aren't enough to help them make ends meet.

TOO MANY CLOTHES
Revisado: 10-12-24
I don't like a murder mystery where everything every single person wears is the most important thing written. Unfortunately, after the last, "she wore XXX and had her hair XXX" I got seriously bored. Besides, the murderer was obvious almost from the start. don't spend your money. Not worth it.

Historia
Oxford, Spring - 1354. When the series of accidents to the building of the chapel at Queen’s College begin, they do not appear a cause for concern, but they grow more serious, and stonemasons are injured. Nicholas Elyot becomes involved after it is discovered that an intruder has reached the college by way of his garden. When Jordain Brinkylsworth’s youngest student goes missing, it seems at first that his disappearance is unconnected, yet he is one of the ‘poor boys’ supported by Queen’s. Surely this serious and studious boy cannot be responsible for the troubles?

LOVE THESE
Revisado: 11-14-21
I like them for the history, Its fun to read about "normal" people in the medieval times. These are not kings or noblemen and women. These are shop keepers and laborers. If you want mysteries, these are not for you because the "killers" are easily discovered. But if you're looking for good fun reading about what it was like to live during the 1300s, these are GREAT! I am looking forward to any others she may write.

THE WORST
Revisado: 07-10-21
This has to be one of the worst books I've ever read. If I knew how to get my money back, I'd ask. Don't waste your time or your money on this one.

very negative characters
Revisado: 06-15-21
I think I managed 20 minutes into the book before I got so discouraged that I had to stop. There isn't one nice character in the entire group. They can't say anything nice about each other. Disgusting. I finally gave up.

wow

That's all I can say. This is a good book. The characters were well written and the story is compelling. Although the ending was a tad cliché, the rest of the book is so good, one can overlook that.

Historia
In the pantheon of serial killers, Belle Gunness stands alone. She was the rarest of female psychopaths, a woman who engaged in wholesale slaughter, partly out of greed but mostly for the sheer joy of it. Between 1902 and 1908, she lured a succession of unsuspecting victims to her Indiana “murder farm". Some were hired hands. Others were well-to-do bachelors. All of them vanished without a trace.

Found out what happened to my great uncle
Revisado: 08-23-18
This was a really good book - well written, with no bias. I enjoyed it a lot. PLUS, I was surprised to find out the family "story" was a fact. Olie Budsberg was actually a victim of this horrible woman. Highly recommend this book, even if you don't have a great uncle that was a victim
