Historia
Mark Hawkins, former park ranger and expert tracker, is out of his element, working onboard the Magellan, a research vessel studying the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. But his work is interrupted when, surrounded by 30 miles of refuse, the ship and its high-tech systems are plagued by a series of strange malfunctions and the crew is battered by a raging storm. When the storm fades and the sun rises, the beaten crew awakens to find themselves anchored in the protective cove of a tropical island...and no one knows how they got there.

Idiotic, predictable, and down right dumb
Revisado: 01-29-16
To start the moronic tree huggers perspective was irritating but could have been overlooked. As the story progressed it became clear the writer had no knowledge of the life his main character lived prior to the story. To top everything off the story was just dumb and implausible. Don't waste your time.

Great book with a great narrator
Revisado: 05-20-15
I've read the first book before purchasing this one in audio format. The book was very good, but the narrator was great. Well worth the money and time.

Great story, but narrator ruins it for me
- De Benjamin D Smith en 12-29-14
Not a great book but the narrator is horrid.
Revisado: 05-17-15
The narrator is not even a fan of Star Wars. He keeps calling it core-is-kont. Drives me crazy. Then i can't get past how oblivious Luke is. Just not a good listen.

Historia
On May 1, 1915, with WWI entering its tenth month, a luxury ocean liner as richly appointed as an English country house sailed out of New York, bound for Liverpool, carrying a record number of children and infants. The passengers were surprisingly at ease, even though Germany had declared the seas around Britain to be a war zone. For months, German U-boats had brought terror to the North Atlantic.

This is an unexpectedly gratifying story of a historic event i thought i knew. The Devil is in the details and our author has not skimped.

Historia
In the evolving world of the Forgotten Realms setting, the Sundering has given way to months of cloud-cloaked darkness, and war rages under that oppressive sky. The orcs have broken a hard-fought treaty that's held, however tentatively, for a hundred years, and the time to settle old scores has devolved into an all-out brawl for control of the ancient realms of the North.

Historia
An exciting series, especially for readers new to the Forgotten Realms! Thazienne Uskevren, the only legitimate daughter of the wealthy Uskevren family, has suffered blow after blow to her body and spirit. Even as she struggles to mend her fractured soul, Tazi finds herself on a journey that will take her far from the safety of Selgaunt and into the deadly heart of the Calim Desert. There the shifting sands hide an old foe, who holds the key to Tazi's salvation - or the doom of Sembia.

Not great

This story was poorly written and reads even worse. The narrator usually reads romance novels not fantasy books. Did not enjoy this and moving on anytime i see this narrator again.

Historia
Talbot Uskevren, the second son of one of Selgaunt's most powerful families, fights a deadly battle within himself. Like most men of his station, Talbot spends his days honing his sword fighting skills, and unlike others, practicing the art of acting. Now, Talbot will put both of these talents to the test when a rival House comes looking for blood. The only way for Talbot to survive against the Black Brotherhood is to let the inner wolf loose, and the only way for him to live in Selgaunt's society is to keep the wolf chained.

Good story poor narrator.
Revisado: 01-30-15
You can tell that the narrator is not a fan of the forgotten realms novels. She narrates the book really choppy and mispronounces many words that are familiar to most forgotten realms enthusiast.
