I like strong female protagonists that start out weak and overcome obstacles after obstacle as she increases in strength until she's completely OP. This is one of those books.

This book is full of very strange adults contest, but if that doesn't bother you the story is excellent in the performance is amazing. It left room to go somewhere so there may be another book coming, but I love where it is going!

Heads up there's some very strange bizarre adult content in this book, but so long as that is not a put off this is an amazing amazing book with a very interesting storyline. It's kind of niche with a very strong almost if not completely overpowered main character, and obviously it's fantasy so don't expect it to make perfect sense scientifically, though the author gets full marks for trying in that regard. Can't really do a summary justice without spoiling stuff but if you've read the first two books this one is just like the last two but bigger.

Way too short for the money!

The story itself isn't bad. In fact, it's pretty good. However, for the price I paid for this book , it was way too short!! if I were paying by the minute, this is the most expensive books that I have ever read / listen to!! I will not support this highway robbery. the narrator sounds like a first grade teacher reading to her students and the story isn't worth that much money! this series is extremely overpriced for the length and quality!!! I will not be buying any more books from this author or narrator!!! it's like they want a full price for a book for each of their chapters!

Good story but the narrator was weak.

The story was pretty good if rather short, but the narrator sounded like a third grade teacher narrating to her class. it was nowhere near the caliber of narration I'm used to on Audible, but in the end I got through it. Honestly probably not enough story for the money. I already bought the second book when I bought the first one, but if there is no improvement, I probably won't buy the Third.

Great story!! Not the best narration I've heard.

The story was riveting and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely worth all 5 Stars. The narration wasn't the best, though I've heard worse. There were lots of mispronounced words and a few sections that were repeated for no apparent reason. It's like someone forgot to check it for mistakes. overall it's still worth 5 Stars though!

Amazing story!! The narrator... passable I guess.

The title says it all. the story is really good and it's really a page-turner. I couldn't put it down. However, while the narrator was passable, she seem to try to turn every sentence into an ironic statement with the tone of her voice which got really old. I will still get the next book because the story is that good. I just wish it had a different narrator.
