This was just a sales pitch for her other book
Revisado: 01-04-25
I read this naked mind and it is great … just get that book. I had to return this one as it really is, just as others said , an infomercial for this naked mind. Not helpful and really left me disappointed that instead of focusing on the people’s story and various ways they navigated their life to health it was all about how this naked mind was the answer.

Historia
A semi-biographical collection of stories told from my point of view. These are funny, exciting, and sometimes horrifying true tales of my experiences working above and below the surface of the water. The jobs were on dams, bridges, and oilrigs in rivers, lakes and the oceans.

Well told and overall good listen
Revisado: 01-03-25
I stumbled on this book and I love water sports but never got into diving. I think this is a great book about one person’s life and how it is wrapped up in a pretty unique career that would not be easily understood if not directly in it.
While this story is more meandering , as life and careers are, the author reads well and makes it a very good listen. Even not being a diver I found the way this was written and told relatable, at times laughing and others commiserating… overall I recommend.

Well written and well read - a fantastic and humorous account of a first Iditarod
Revisado: 06-30-24
I couldn’t stop listening. The care for the dogs, humor of the naivety, adventures of the race, and bond of the team was just fascinating and so well written and read .

Poor Narration
Revisado: 05-09-23
Would be five star as the content is so interesting but the narration on the women’s portion is aweful and you can hear pages turn and stumbling over words. This book would be best getting in text.
