Thoroughly enjoyable - and inspiring!

This was very well laid out. It was the perfect length. And it was quite enjoyable to find that a close friend of John Wycliffe
(who lived on the earth over 700 years ago!) had a son who left memoirs.
Folks, this was a couple of centuries before Martin Luther! The author did a fantastic job of a intertwining historical facts with personable storyline. The narrator at first seemed a little weak, but I came to believe was perfect to relate the story.
Bravo! I cannot believe that it was free with my audible membership. Now I very much want to listen to more historical biographies of heroes for Christ.

Would you listen to Simply Sacred again? Why?
Yes, absolutely. I have scoured Audible for good Christian audio devotionals. This is one of the best. Among the really good ones (and there aren't a ton) this one is strangely obscure. Gary Thomas has fantastic insights given in interesting ways, it's biblical, and Adam Verner just couldn't do a better job reading it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Simply Sacred?
Too many to name. I have been bookmarking my favorite devotions (there are 365!:)

This is one of the Top 5 devotionals on Audible. Trust me, I've looked.

Dr. Creasy is the BEST - but, there are only 6 MPs

What disappointed you about The Minor Prophets?
Dr. Creasy is as good as it gets, and nobody who loves the Word of God and Bible study will ever regret getting any of his material. That being said, this isn't actually The Minor Prophets - I only received half of them (6 of the 12).

Enjoyable, Clean, Informative

The narration perfectly fits the subject matter and is very enjoyable to listen to. The writing is informative as an introductory narrative to help get your mind geared towards thinking about preparation and basic issues (this was my first prepper novel or book of any kind). Having lived in the Nashville area for a year made it extra enjoyable to hear all of the familiar streets and landmarks.
If a scenario like this doesn't unfold in our lifetimes, this is still a very well-narrated and interestingly written book. You really care about the characters and the compelling and yet realistic scenarios.
If a scenario like this actually does occur in our lifetimes, then the ideas and techniques put forth here can only be beneficial.
