Historia
The news is full of disturbing events today. There's war and rumors of war. There's the false recovery of the economy. Faith in the US economy is extremely low. Foreign banks have either slowed their purchases of Treasury Bonds or, in a few cases, begun unloading them. We have a current election that is rife with corruption, extreme partisanship, and outright fraud. It would appear the left in the country is ready to do about anything to see their candidate elected.

Slow talker
Revisado: 05-23-18
Good storyline however the narrator was slow and annoying. I compensated by speeding up the speech rate.
Great story though, will buy part 2.

Historia
Terrorists have acquired a terrible new weapon that can crash the power grid and plunge America into a new dark age. A coordinated attack is planned to shut out all lights and emergency services to 10 major cities. Planes will fall, hospitals will go dark, no help will come. And in that terrible darkness, a dreadful plague will be released. If the lights go off, nothing can stop the bioweapon from killing millions. At the same time, the intelligence services are being torn apart from within by a plague of betrayal, murder, and suicide.

Historia
If society collapsed, could you survive? When Morgan Carter's car breaks down 250 miles from his home, he figures his weekend plans are ruined. But things are about to get much, much worse: the country's power grid has collapsed. There is no electricity, no running water, no Internet, and no way to know when normalcy will be restored - if it ever will be.

Would you listen to Going Home again? Why?
I would listen to this book again and capture a lot of the helpful idea's not to mention is was very entertaining. I drive a lot in a week and this made my drive times fly by.
What did you like best about this story?
The reality of it.
Any additional comments?
When I first started listening to this book I was annoyed at how he broke down all the details, however after a while I found myself really feeling like I was part of the story. Great read/listen, and I'm already ready book 2.

Historia
>In this illuminating and informative memoir, an Iraqi translator who risked his life working with American Sniper author Chris Kyle and the Navy SEALs tells his remarkable and inspiring story, offering a refreshing new perspective on the Iraq War. As the insurgency in Iraq intensified following the American invasion, U.S. Navy SEALs were called upon to root terrorists from their lairs. Unsure of the local neighborhoods and unable to speak the local languages, they came to rely on one man to guide them and watch their backs. He was a "terp" - an interpreter - with a job so dangerous they couldn't even use his real name.

I served in country and this was very factual and real. What I really enjoyed about this audio was the writer covered all aspects of the thought process and actions from himself or others on the team. War although not good, does really challenge on all planes of the mind.
Great job and would reccomend it to all but especially those who have not served in combat. My only caveat is nothing can be written to replace first hand experiance from the horrors of battle.
God Bless the Troops.

Historia
The threat of terrorism in America, the Obama administration assures us, is contained and controlled. Attempted attacks like the Times Square bombing, the “underwear bombing” on a flight over Detroit, and the attack on a Christmas-tree lighting ceremony in Oregon were all isolated plots that failed. In the words of Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano, “The system worked.” Don't believe it.

The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government Is Dec
Revisado: 06-09-11
After spending many years in the middle east, I find this book to be extremely accurate. Relative to the actions of our government, the information in this book was also very accurate as far as I could tell.
