No AI Narration please
Revisado: 02-17-25
The story should have been good, but the flat AI narration totally spoiled whatever interest that the plot might have had. I’m sorry if you can’t afford a narrator, but this AI stuff just doesn’t work.

Excellent Stiey
Revisado: 01-31-24
The story was very interesting to me as I live in a rural Appalachian town. It was easy for me to relate, and it was really a great read or listen in my case. Let me say first off that I truly appreciate the narrators correct pronunciation of the word APP-UH-LATCH-UH. The author showed her Northern roots when she pronounced it incorrectly in her addition at the end of the book. The story was wonderful and I really hated to hear the last few words. I highly recommend it.

Historia
With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

The book was beautifully written and very charming, but the real star was Rachel McAdams. So many times, the narration can poorly affect the quality the story making it difficult to listen. Rachel Mc Adams only enhanced the experience. Great work!

Historia
For the reasonable price of $1, Natalie Malone just bought herself an abandoned villa on the Amalfi Coast. With a detailed spreadsheet and an ancient key, she's arrived in Italy ready to renovate—and with only six months to do it. Which seemed reasonable until architect Pietro Indelicato began critically watching her every move. From the sweeping ocean views to the scent of the lemon trees, there's nothing Pietro loves more than his hometown. And after seeing too many botched jobs and garish design choices, he's done watching from the sidelines.

WASTE OF MONEY!!
Revisado: 02-16-23
The narration was beyond bad. Just couldn’t take it and I really tried as I paid $$ for this and couldn’t return. Not enough details about the town in Italy. Would love to know more. Just not worth it for $$ and definitely not a credit.

Historia
Doyle was back at Scotland Yard after taking maternity leave, and the powers-that-be had decided they’d ease her way by assigning her to assist DS Isabella Munoz, which was a fate only slightly worse than death. Annoying, it was, that she had to answer to Munoz; not to mention that Munoz wasn’t given many high-quality homicide assignments in the first place.

Great story/ Terrible narrator
Revisado: 11-20-22
I am addicted to this series. One of the things I loved best was the first narrator. She was incredible. I got use to the second one, and enjoyed the books too. This one was so distracting that I would have returned the audible book and just read it myself. Unfortunately I didn’t use a credit and couldn’t return it. I will check the next book before purchasing for sure.
Her accents were all over the place and would change mid dialog. Just terrible.
