Virtual voice is terrible at pronunciation of many words.

I appreciate the explanation of the Kihon Happo and always getting back to basics. Did not like narration. Virtual Narration needs work on pronunciation.

Fundamentals that we should be taught in our developmental years.

There is a great wealth of knowledge in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside was playback issues with speed changing on its own. I confirmed the issue was with the book and not the app.

Historia
Thirty years in New York City's public schools led John Gatto to the sad conclusion that compulsory schooling does little but teach young people to follow orders like cogs in an industrial machine. With over 100,000 copies in print since its original publication in 2002, this book is collection of essays and speeches and includes a describes the wide-spread impact of the book and Gatto's "guerrilla teaching". John Gatto was a teacher in New York City's public schools for over 30 years and was a New York State Teacher of the Year.

Amazing wealth of knowledge
Revisado: 03-17-23
The author solidifies the skepticism I've had throughout my life about the public school system. We have homeschooled my 9 year old son since preschool age and he is already moving beyond his older cousins in public schools. He works at his own pace and has plenty of free time to grow and be a kid.
