This book made me laugh and cry. I consider myself open minded and accepting, but there were things this book forced me to consider that had never occurred to me.

Historia
The Little House books, which chronicled the pioneer adventures of Laura Ingalls Wilder, are among the most beloved books in the American literary canon. Lesser known is the secret, concealed for decades, of how they came to be. Now, best-selling author Susan Wittig Albert reimagines the fascinating story of Laura's daughter, Rose Wilder Lane, an intrepid world traveler and writer who returned to her parents' Ozark farm, Rocky Ridge, in 1928.

Historia
From his rapid-fire stand-up comedy riffs to his breakout role in Mork & Mindy and his Academy Award-winning performance in Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams was a singularly innovative and beloved entertainer. He often came across as a man possessed, holding forth on culture and politics while mixing in personal revelations - all with mercurial, tongue-twisting intensity as he inhabited and shed one character after another with lightning speed. But as Dave Itzkoff shows in this revelatory biography, Williams’ comic brilliance masked a deep well of conflicting emotions and self-doubt.

Chilling Concept
Revisado: 10-12-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Days' End to be better than the print version?
I think I might have enjoyed this book better in print only because it would have drawn out the suspense for me.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked the mother giving birth. I felt empathy for her.
Any additional comments?

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Very Creepy, Sad Story. Worth a Listen!
Revisado: 09-01-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It is a little disturbing, but not in a scary way.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I wouldn't say it kept me on the edge of my seat, but it definitely kept my interest. It was a little difficult for me to visualize the surroundings. Especially areas of the garage.
Have you listened to any of Andrew Wincott’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first one.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I was just sad for everyone in the story. I wanted the oriental man to find love and live happily ever after. I wanted his Boss to stop mistreating him.
