Historia
Bronwic, a recently retired ice hockey enforcer, is trying unsuccessfully to rebuild himself in the remote Milford Sounds of New Zealand when a Mana Influx hits Earth. Danger is everywhere as oversaturated Mana creates wormholes that bring dangerous creatures to Earth. Animals and vegetation are warped and forcibly evolved into a new hostile food chain, and humanity is no longer at the top.

Great book
Revisado: 04-07-25
I really enjoyed the character and the plot of this one. It’s hard to blend technology and fantasy together, but this book did a great job of doing it. Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Pretty good
Revisado: 03-27-25
It’s not “a soldier‘s life“ but it’s still a pretty decent book feels more like a cozy slice of life kind of deal than a action packed adventure type of book

Historia
Veos has quickly proved to be far more capable than your average Dungeon Core. In the eyes of his challengers, at least. He's instinctive and motivated, with a drive to craft an intricate story and create obstacles for all those who seek to explore what lies beneath Nerian-Silex. Though Veos is certainly an unusual dungeon, what truly sets him apart is unknown to most—even himself. But now he's stumbled upon intel about the realm's dark history that, if tampered with, could reawaken a horrific enemy.

Best new dungeon core book in a while
Revisado: 02-15-25
I feel like most dungeon core books are one of two things poorly written, but great concept or well written with a slow boring story. It’s rare you find one that’s well paced well written great concept and exciting to listen to once I started this book I didn’t put it down till it was over. I hope to see 10 more books in this series in the near future. It was that good! Also, the narrator for this book was perfect!

Historia
Reidon Ward's first semester at the Galens Institute hasn't been without reward. In just over half a year he's gone from the weakest cadet at school to one of the strongest in his class, and there's no one left who would argue that his Device, Shido, isn't the most terrifying CAD they've ever laid eyes on. Still, Rei knows that his climb has barely begun, like he knows that the true fight is only just starting. After all… The Sectionals tournament has arrived. Rei, along with Aria, Viv, Catcher, and a couple unexpected squadmates, are about to face the first real battle of their careers.

Not as good as the first book
Revisado: 11-02-23
I remember in the first book, and thinking wow what an amazing story with a unique idea. I was so excited to read this one and waited a couple of years until the book was written, and finally published on Audible. Sadly, the second book just doesn’t live up to the expectation set by the first. To be fair, the book isn’t bad it’s more like the first books at the bar very high and the second does not come close to meeting that same level. But given criticism of the feedback isn’t fair, so here are some of mine. I would’ve liked to see more progression in the overall story we basically just got one big tournament in the book. Tournaments and books are great but I wanted more development of the story. also, as it’s written to have a focus on the team that is formed for the tournament, I would’ve liked to see more interactions between characters learning to grow as a team and work together especially with there being a few areas with major conflict but that never really happens they’re all just sort of good at working together there’s no real growth. In essence, the book was OK just not up to the standards of the first one.

The third book in the series does not disappoint. In my option it’s the best one so far, and I can’t wait for the series to continue in book 4!

Historia
Reidon Ward will become a god. He doesn't know it yet, of course. Reidon was born weak, sickly, and small. Afflicted with a painful disease and abandoned by his parents because of it, he has had to fight tooth and nail for every minor advantage life has allowed him. However, his perseverance has not gone unnoticed, and when the most powerful artificial intelligence in human history takes an interest in him, things began to change quickly.

This book may seem long, but every minute was full of great action. I loved the unique ideas of the book the system of power felt new and refreshing. The only thing that was weird was that the sergeants were constantly referred to as officers, but that was really just a small pet peeve.

Historia
Eight internet friends have an "IRL" meeting in a mountain cabin. But instead of the long weekend get-together they planned, they're suddenly caught up in the end of the world as they knew it! They just met for the first time in real life last night, and today's group wake-up call is strange messages floating in the air telling them that something called a "System Start" has just happened. Now magic works, and technology doesn't. Cell phones won't work, cars won't start, and it's 10 miles to the nearest town. Some of them have families to worry about.

Historia
Every year, the empire administers the rite of passage into adulthood. That rite serves to identify those blessed by Aether to become magi. The new magi are shipped to the academy to learn the arts of magic. The academy is a dangerous place; the tournaments held twice each year can cripple or kill the students, and the clans of the empire will go to great lengths to recruit the students they want. Gregory had one dream: to become a magi like the legends of old. Though he was ridiculed by the residents of the village and his unsupportive father, he never wavered from his dream.

This book was on start to stop with no pauses. It was so good I couldn’t put it down not even to sleep. The only disappointing thing about it is as of the time I am reading this the second book hasn’t come to Audible yet. Also the bonus of the bloopers at the end of the book were hilarious I wish more audible books included that.
