Screaming With Brightness!
Revisado: 01-27-22
During these dark and uncertain times this is a fun and exciting podcast.
Danielle and Scout definitely deliver. They talk about all things sex, love and of course horror.
Although Danielle and Scout are both famous actresses, they are extremely vulnerable in sharing their own life experiences. They answer questions from fans and even offer life advice if you ask. Honestly, they are two genuine souls.
I look forward to my commute as these two ladies make my ride entertaining.
Give it a listen, you might just end up screaming with delight!

Don't let the title fool you. This isn't a book about high fiving everyone else in your life. You're already doing that. Cheering for your favorite teams. Celebrating your friends. Supporting the people you love as they go after what they want in life. Imagine if you gave that same love and encouragement to yourself. Or even better, you made it a daily habit. You'd be unstoppable. In this book, Mel teaches you how to start high fiving the most important person in your life, the one who is staring back at you in the mirror: YOURSELF.

The Holy Grail!
Revisado: 09-30-21
I don’t write many reviews. I don’t really know where to even begin. I’ve read and listened to more self-help, personal development and spiritual growth books than I even care to admit to. Although I’ve always learned something from all of them nothing has ever awoken something inside of me like this book has and I’m only on chapter 7. Like so many of us I have struggled to shake the demons of my past and my negative self image and thoughts.
The 1st time I gave myself a high-five in the mirror..I said “You are here, everything in life has been preparing you for this moment, this journey and you deserve all the greatness that’s coming your way so don’t fight it, just embrace it.” In that moment when my hand touched the mirror, I felt a warm fuzzy feeling come over me, almost like mini-goosebumps and I felt electrified and energized. Now every time I’m in front of a mirror I stop, tell myself something I love about myself and give myself a high-five and carry-on. Still every time I get the same feelings as if it were my first time.
If you are in the field of helping others or just want to improve your own life and self love for yourself I highly recommend you give this a listen.
Mel is as real as they come and she inspires you to see the greatness in yourself in all that she does. If you combine the High-Five Habit with The 5-Second Rule you will transform yourself into becoming unstoppable and indestructible.

Historia
We humans tend to get in our own way time and time again - whether it comes to not speaking up for ourselves, going back to bad romantic partners, our umpteenth diet, or engaging in any of a range of bad habits we just can’t seem to shake. In Rewire, renowned psychotherapist Richard O’Connor, PhD, reveals why our bad habits die so hard. We have two brains - one a thoughtful, conscious, deliberative self, and the other an automatic self that does most of the work without our attention.
