hope he writes more books, it was like reading a true Harry Bosch book. Mr Kenda made me laugh and see the truth in situations at the same time. book was much less graphic than I anticipated. a positive experience

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, great story, fascinating historical facts interwoven. Narrator dreadful. If the story hadn't been so good, I would have bailed because of her. If narration had been good, book would have been fantastic.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Autumn in Oxford?

Encounters with historical figures like Bayard Rustin.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Breathy, phony English accent was truly gratingly bad. Speech pattern distracting.

Historical revelations were moving

Narrator enhanced story. Glad I ignored reviews and tried the book.

Will Robie, he is always struggling to do the right thing.

What about Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s performance did you like?

You can feel Will Robie's struggle with his conscience in Ron Mclarty's narration.

I admired Howard's compassion and bravery; it was salve on a wound in today's negativity and hateful politics.

What made the experience of listening to The Girl from Krakow the most enjoyable?

This book had so much interesting information, I remained very interested throughout. A suspense, Grew attached to the characters. An interesting intelligent book.

What other book might you compare The Girl from Krakow to and why?

The Invisible Bridge; also involved you into the lives of those suffering terrible loss during the Nazi occupations.

What does Michael Page bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

excellent narration, he inhabited each character and brought them to life.

If you could take any character from The Girl from Krakow out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Eric Klein, he was selfless, brilliant, brave.
