The best thing about this series of books is keeping the same characters and personalities. It helps with the flow of the stories. Characters are nice, but they could be developed more.

The worst thing about the series is Vitual Voice. There was no inflection in the story and might well be why I felt like the characters were not developed. The droning of the story put me to sleep several times & I had to find the last thing I remembered prior to falling asleep. Obviously the stories were compelling enough I wanted to complete the series.

Perfect for young girls

This is a light story about music creating magic. The lead character is probably a 5th grader. Her grandmother insists she go to camp where no music Is played but sports are required. The story made me smile even if it wasn't challenging. I'd listen to it again with my grandson.

Fun & light listen.

This is a fun fiction where ghosts are the predominant theme. Who can see and talk to ghost? Scarlet can. Danielle Garrett offers a book with quirky characters, a couple of handsome wannabe suitors and murder that no one knew about for over 20 years. Then the read is performed by Amanda Ronconi. I'd listen to about anything she narrates. The entire series is a fun read to do more than once.

Not a good book.

The primary character just came out of rehab and tried to get out of the atmosphere that cultivated her addictions. She flees to Virginia by purchasing a mansion to make it a bed & breakfast. Little does she know that the house was the scene of multiple murders. There are demons, succubi, succubus, vampire worshipers, rape, delusional people, corrupt police. Who do you trust? All the spooky stuff triggers the first drink, drunkenness, throwing up & then the drugs. There are a few redeeming characters, but not many. I'm asking for my credit back.

i usually like Robyn Peterman's book. Not this series. The women are vapid with nothing on their minds but getting laid. Maybe having a child down the road. Who would want these women as moms? At least their smarter than the men. Thry care only for themselves & how many words can there be for male privates? Many, many, many words. It was extremely repetitive. i'm guessing this must be part of Robyn's early work before she learned how to develop characters. Save yourself a waste oftime & credit.

Loved the ending!

I was so looking forward to Cliff's book. Cliff always knew what he lost & wanted for his life & for Emma. Even though there was a great deal of repeat from the previous books in this series, I didn't mind it. Only one error I found when it mentioned Seth read Cliff's mind in the Linda incident. Zack is the one that read his mind. Love the story & the narration!

Financial downfall & God

I really enjoyed this series. No rape. language not bad & scripture. The predictions ftom the Bible with what could happen today very easily. If this does ever happen I hope i can be as strong.

Narrator... not enjoyable

As with almost all of Milly Taiden stories, you know what you're going to get & it's a fun story.

Lexi Evans does not do this story justice. It was hard to get thorough. I'll just read the story next time she narrates. It's hard to tell who's talking....very sad!

Crying, whiny female

I've always enjoyed this series, but, this one just got on my last nerve. I know anxiety is a real issue. I understand how trying it can be. However, I did not want to listen to it for 5+ hours. If I had not already had this book in my inventory to listen again, I would have returned it. Maybe I'll listen to it in 5 years.

Really? This is like one of those teaster books.

The quality of this book is not up to the standard of Zombie Fallout, Lucan Fallout or Indian Hill. If I didn't want to see what happens I would have stopped listening 3 book ago in The Schrouded World Series. This just isn't holding my interest. I find my mind wondering & have to go back & see what I missed. Please put me out of my misery & end it! I will never listen to these again.... ssoooo depressing! And, these are not stand alone books. If these didn't end with cliffhangers I would not continue the series. (sigh)
