Enjoyed the series immensely. Love reading powerful woman characters and their revelations. Look forward to continued Jackie Leon stories as that is where we learned of Kaleha.

Interesting new series

I enjoyed the start of the Kaliya saga. Strong heroine, engaging storyline and just enough untold questions to make you want more. Unfortunately, the narrator has an extremely sharp “S” pronunciation that rakes likes nails on a blackboard. Sadly, it detracts a LOT from fully immersing into the story. Will try book 2 and hope I can get through it.

My new fave badass heroine!

I found the series starter on a suggestion email. Haven’t been able to put them down. My husband and I turn the TV off and listen to these books — and he’s not a SciFi/Fantasy reader by ANY means — enjoying the level of excitement, the ease at being able to feel the emotions of the writer and the characters.

Stephanie Plum, Mercy Thompson, Sookie Stackhouse, Gin Blanco - all great heroines in their own right but Jackie Leon is a badass! She exudes strength in herself, shows the potential for growth and change, isn’t afraid to go against the norm, gives unconditionally even when she is expected not to and isn’t afraid to take a stand for her beliefs. I haven’t stopped until this last book and I’m wanting more!! What’s next?? When?? When??

I enjoyed the flow of the experience unfolding. Jackie Leone sounds like a force to be reckoned with. I could have done with a little less cussing but that’s because I listen with my grandkids in the car. On to book two!

Edge of our seats!

We sat on the edge of our seats for most of this series, opting to listen to this series instead of watching television. Loved the fighting spirit, determination and compassion expressed through all the main characters.

Poor narrator

Great story but the narrator had me forcing myself to listen to the end. ☹️. She sounded like a computer reading to me most of the book.

Loved the first two books in the series BUT not having the final 5 available on audible OR audiobook leaves me hanging and VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Great story line but .......

Love the storyline & series, definitely makes me want to grab the next in line, but it could do without all the cussing. Occasionally to make a point is ok but not every couple of sentences
