I listened to the audio of Mated to Curves and I think Rylee Forrester did a great job. I personally do prefer when there is dual narration especially when the books are also in dual POV. But I still enjoyed it. And I love how D.V Fischer books have curvy FMCs. This was a compilation of short stories. They flowed nicely into one another, and picked up where each left off.

I don’t know why it took me so long to read this book! and I am so excited for more from this series. This is a really dark book, Killian is an unhinged, obsessive and possessive of Glyn. Seriously, he does a lot of questionable things and he’s perfect for someone who has no triggers. The best thing he did for Glyn was help her find her backbone. And the TWIST! It definitely took me by surprise. This book took me on a rollercoaster ride, I was happy, sad, laughed and I even cried - during Killian’s “heart to heart” with his parents, oh my heart. Plus it was spicy. and I can’t wait for more from the Legacy of God’s series.

I went back and forth between listening to the audio and reading the book. Josie Minor and Sebastian York did really great job narrating. I think Sebastian is becoming one of my favorite narrators. There was also some narration from Kylie Stewart, Wen Ross, and Aaron Shedlock for Asher, Astrid, and Levi’s chapters. I thought that was a nice touch considering that Astrid & Levi (Glyn’s parents) have their own book, Cruel King.

Firstly, is there anything sexier than an Irish accent? I think not. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross nailed this narration. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this series. There are definitely Rapunzel vibes here. I always love when the big bad mafia heir finds the woman who is going to drop him to his knees. Caitlin is a recluse, when Keenan finds her and he decides to take her as his prisoner to get to the bottom of her story. Which I enjoyed the background of Caitlin. I didn’t necessarily think this was heavy on being a “dom” type of book, sure he was a possessive alphahole, dominating and expecting Caitlin to be submissive to him but for as innocent as Caitlin was - I do wish Keenan explained the lifestyle, his expectations, etc. All in all though, I did like the storyline, the spice wasn’t overpowering and listening to it made it better.

This book is SO HOT. I don't know why it took me so long to read it. And if you think reading it is hot, listening to it is even better. Ada Sinclair and Patrick Zeller nailed the narration. He did a great job voicing 6 different male characters. Les and her Harem are... yum. Not only is it spicy but there's a decent storyline. It ends on a cliffhanger, but the rest of the series is published already so I'm not stressing. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.

Good story & great narration

I really love a second chance romance, and I enjoyed the plot/idea of this book. But towards the end I was left wanting more and I thought it felt rushed. There is a 6 year time jump, and I wanted to see more of their reconnection. To be honest I also wanted to see Naomi grovel. She had some nerve being pissed off at him when she left him because she didn't want to break up a family. And I do dislike ex-wife drama. But I love Sawyer, and I listened to the audio so Joe Arden (as always) makes everyone pure perfection. and Rose Diovoro did great as Naomi as well. Plus I really loved her brother, Eric - he had me laughing. Is there an Eric and Danica book out there? I hope so.

Marked by Cain is book #3 in the Ridgewood Series. It can be read as a standalone. I didn't read the first 2 books in the series. This is written in dual POV. However, I listened to the audio and there is only one narrator, Amy Hall did a great job but I personally prefer dual narration when there are women/men POV in the books. But that's a personal preference and doesn't effect my rating.

Cain is the president of the Sinners Motorcyle Club and, I typically am not an MC fan but I really loved Cain's character and his love for Rosie. Rosie is his brothers ex girlfriend, and her character is pretty badass. She's been hurt in the past, and doesn't want to let her falls break down. Plus dick confetti (IYKYK.) 🤣 There were some moments where I laughed, some where my heart hurt but along the way they got their HEA.

And I absolutely love Sly's character, and their situation and his push for them to get together. I'm hoping that he'll get his own HEA.

I am obsessed with Dante

Okay I am OBSESSED with Dante. I loved the mafia aspect, and Kat's background story. However, please be mindful of trigger warnings - your mental health matters. And it was pretty spicy! I listened to the audio and Elena Wolfe and Tor Thorn nailed it. I think I could listen to Tor say "good little kitten" for the rest of my life, 'cause ... damn. 🤤 I also loved how it was dual narration but in the chapters, if Dante spoke and it was Kat's chapter he was voiced by Tor and vice versa - so it wasn't the narrators just changing their voices to make it more feminine or masculine. If that makes sense.

I liked the story but wanted more from the narrati

I listened to the audio of this. Unexpected Baby for My Grumpy Billionaire Boss is written in dual POV, however the audio is single narration. I typically prefer dual when it's multiple POV's just because I think it flows better, and it gives you a better picture of that particular character. I also felt like the narrators voiced seemed robotic at times, the narration didn't work for me but I didn't hate the story. Initially I didn't get many grumpy vibes from Jack but I do think he jumped the gun when it came to assuming the worst of Dean and Kelly. Obviously they both needed to communicate better and trust one another. And I do love a good surprise pregnancy. In this case it brought them back together.

I would give this a rating of a 3 - just because narration didn't work for me. But, I did like the story (and honestly I hate giving lower ratings) so I'm going to go with a 4 star for this one.

I listened to the audio of Sticks and Stones, and I really enjoyed it. The narrators nailed their personalities. Alex's has a deep voice and I thought it fit Stone perfectly considering he's a big hockey player.

This is written in dual POV, which I love because I enjoy hearing the male POV. It's a enemies to lovers story. Wren almost ruined his chance at reaching his hockey dreams and he's hated her ever since. After her boyfriend cheats on her she finds herself living in the hockey house and forced to share a room with Stone. I kind of love/hated their prank war, I felt really emotional towards the situation - which is a good thing when a story can speak to your emotions that way. Stone comes from money so he doesn't understand Wrens situation. She comes from the wrong side of the tracks, her father is a drug dealer and she spent most of her life in and out of foster care. After one of their pranks back fire he finds himself protective, possessive and falling for Wren. Plus, they are hot together. ⬇️

Okay, so I love Chase. Does someone like him really exist? 🤣 His personality is top knotch. He's funny, cocky, sexy, knows how to say all of the right things. He does struggle with his past, and it broke my heart when things started to go side ways for him and Reese. He makes up for it because he's so caring... it's caring when you sit outside your exes house to make sure she's safe, right?or stalkerish? Tomato Tomahtoe.

I listened to the audio and love when Joe and Maxine narrate together. And just hearing ⬇️ it hits different. 🤤

"I'm gonna come so deep inside of you that my come won't come out for days"
