Historia
Ever do a good deed that came back to haunt you? Julep should have left the injured goblin by the road. Instead, she finds herself changing bloody bandages and dodging assassination attempts while her patient's equally dangerous henchmen 'guard' her. Artur's found gold, and not the kind hidden in the bottom of Julep's cart. When her greedy family decides to cash in on their suddenly valuable relative, he does the logical thing: steals her right back and adds her to his treasure hoard. charming story
Revisado: 08-12-24
virtual voice narrative really lost any form inflection especially towards the end or just skipped words /sentences. I have this book so it's noticeable when listening. if you can move past the modern speech then it's a very charming concept for goblins. I really enjoyed reading the books on kindle. Hopefully if there's any more on audible, a human voice would really do it justice.

great book
Revisado: 04-09-23
Fabulous story and I hope the dream team brings more Julie/Aurora. Narrator voice worked for Maud.. her voice is more boudoir but it worked for the vampire planet. It's off for Julie/Aurora.. just initial impression and after listening several times over. It's hard to please everyone but once you have the foundation of your stories read by one person with that person's pronouncings, it's what the audience is trained to respond to... I'm just grateful for having these stories to enjoy!

wonderful adventure

I almost didn't buy this audio due to a previous commentary that held issue with Boston accent and pronunciations. Don't be put off. The multiple voices is a relief vs hearing one person confuse the voice accents of each character. This is my first experience with this author and I will be delving into other novels by her. I'm completely charmed and enjoyed this world very much.
